This is Malika …she’s a stunning Podenca, a very lovely natured girl, full of fun, loves to play , she would be a great canicross partner and good sports dog. She’s high energy , but also slows down and sleeps most of the late afternoon and evening.
She’s looking for a human or humans to love her and give her a great life .

This is Malika ..she’s a stunningly beautiful podenca with a funny and sweet character, full of life and love ! And she’s looking for her forever home .
She does have the high predatory drive associated with this breed , but to be fair her drive is not huge …it’s very manageable..
She’s just a young approx 2 years girl with so much to give …could you consider her ? Please share to help her find her forever human …

My beautiful foster girl “ Ava “ leaves for her new home this Saturday, and I’m beside myself, already tearful, she loves me and I’m going to turn her world upside down as she goes to her wonderful new mum .

This is so hard …she was highly traumatised, she was extremely fearful and struggled with every aspect of every environment …..she was from a horrific pound in Spain …..and now her fears are desensitised and now life is a joy for her! She’s plays and loves her human …it’s time for me to be traumatised …again …and it really is all worth it …..
This girl is going to take a huge piece of me with her ..
And I would do it again and again …..

Fostering is hard …you make an emotional investment, you have too , it’s why you do it.
Then you pay the price …..the pain is real when they leave and can be hard to bear

They always go a little backwards for a while and then come forwards again …and I watch them in their new homes with joy and pride that I helped this incredible creature into its new life …..yes …all worth it

My two fosters for the beautiful Ava and the very shy Fenix ..
Both these dogs have struggled with extreme fear …Ava the Black and Tan girl is ready to go to her forever home , she has developed into a beautiful Spanish flower and is truly lovely , now has a play drive and needs a home with another playful dog, preferably in a country setting.

Fenix the cinnamon and white boy is improving constantly but really needs more time .Life is still scary for him and I’m still working with his very extreme debilitating fear state.
Here today they are having a great time ..I love to see them ..my heart melts for them …❤️❤️❤️

This is Ava my foster …she’s a Spanish Stray Dog ..a Podenco Orito and she’s looking for a home .
She was very fearful of humans, and noise …she’s much better now and ready to move on to her forever home ….she very genuine , wants to love and she is now on the sofa with me every night …she likes the sofa!
She’s easy to walk and easy to live with ..she weighs around 11k so she’s a small girl …she needs a home with another dog or dogs ….

This is poor Fenix ..he’s very scared of this new environment, but life is about to change for him right now ....
He’s been rescued by from a notorious pound in Spain that is known for its harsh environment and conditions..
He’s now in the U.K. and currently decompressing ready to start his journey into his new life ..and his new home with a loving family .....this is no easy task for him and he’s going to need a lot of help ....
All humans he’s met before have abused him or scared him ..
But that’s where I come in....helping him into his new life ...and although it’s going to take time for this very scared boy ..it really dosnt matter, it can take all the time in the world ....he’s safe and his future is bright ....😊❤️
