MiNight Vet is based at the Nine Mile Veterinary hospital in Finchampstead. We are a fully equipped out of hours veterinary service, with a vet and nurse on site providing emergency treatment and care during the weekend and nights.

✨ Throughout the month of May, we will be introducing you to our AMAZING team of nurses - both qualified and student - to highlight the important job that they do and why they are so important in the day to day running of the practice and the care for your animals! ✨

🩹 This years campaign theme is progression, with the aim of highlighting the diverse range of achievements, skills abilities and career pathways available to veterinary nurses. 🩹

Beautiful Maple visited us last week for a check up, and was so excited to say hello to our lovely reception team (and the jar of gravy bones) that she jumped up onto the reception desk!

🎉🩺 It’s National Apprenticeship Week! 🩺🎉

❤️ We’re proud to be celebrating the apprenticeship opportunities within the veterinary profession and how we support these in our practice! ❤️

🥰 We shall be introducing our lovely veterinary nursing students who are undertaking apprenticeships with us here at Nine Mile this week. All our student nurses start off as Patient Care Assistants before enrolling at college where they work four days and have one day at college a week for two and a half years! 🥰

We've had a deceased male ginger cat brought into us by a member of the public this morning. He was found on Mole Road, near Nirvana Spa. Unfortunately he doesn't have a microchip. If you think he may be yours, please call the practice on 01189 733466.

Is anyone missing this little beauty? She was found in Arnett Avenue in Finchampstead.

Can everyone please work their magic and share so that she can find her home? I'm sure someone's missing her dearly!

We've had a deceased cat brought into us this evening. She's chipped, but the details aren't up to date and the telephone number is disconnected. She is all black and was found on Loddon Bridge Road. If you think she may be yours, please contact the practice on 01189 733466

Poor Marley got herself in a bit of a pickle this evening after managing to get her paw stuck in a drain cover! Marley was swiftly brought down by her owners and we had her under general anaesthetic asap so we could try to free her foot! Unfortunately this isn't something we see every day, so we don't have the tools needed in the practice 😅
A quick phone call later and 3 wonderful firemen came to our rescue to cut Marley's foot free ❤️
Luckily there wasn't even a scratch on her, so Marley has gone home to recover from her ordeal 🥰
A big thank you to the firemen for their speedy response and quick thinking! 😁

We've had two young rabbits handed in to us this evening, uninjured. No microchips. Found near Clockhouse Road in Farnborough. If you think these two could be yours, please call the practice on 01189733466. We will need photos as proof of ownership.
