Introducing my new sponsored rider and her horse. Lisa Thompson and her 6 year old Irish Sport horse Va Vamoose. Lisa has owned Moose from 7 months and has backed and produced him herself. They are out competing regularly qualifying for several championships this year bringing home many firsts. Lisa and Moose have an Arena Monoflap Jumping saddle and have regular maintenance fittings. I’m proud to be part of their team!

Lisa Thompson and Moose entered their tack into The Equine Fit Award. Great to have my fitting judged and very proud to say the came second by only one point! These two had a very successful weekend at the Blue Lights Horse show.

Another great day of saddle fittings. Kellie Smith joined me again for another training day learning through observation and discussion. A variety of different fits with different requirements and solutions.

I am seeing many Thoroughbreds who are lacking in condition and muscle and are making the transition to ridden horse from racing. Here is a great example. First fitted December 25 with Arena High wither and accompanying pad. Second fit 3 months later saddle adjusted to the improved condition and top line, pad no longer needed. 3rd Fit early July more adjustments made Jasper and saddle looking great!

Gullet change and flocking adjustments for Bailey’s GFS Monarch saddle yesterday. His owner knew his saddle wasn’t right as he was very reluctant to move forward and when pushed put in a buck. After my adjustments he’s now very happy in his saddle, moving forward, tracking up freely and no signs of tension or stress.
