🚒 Chloe and Michelle have been doing some important research with our local firefighters… and yes, they really do rescue cats from trees! 🐈🌳

It was lovely to meet some of the people who look after our community. As a thank you to our emergency services and other Blue Light Card holders, we offer 10% off on Wednesdays and Thursdays at The Pet Vet. 💙

Just show your valid Blue Light Card when you visit. And if your cat has a habit of climbing trees, Chloe and Michelle now know who to call! 😄

Please tag someone you know with a blue light card who would find this helpful and get them to register now:

Last but not least - the final pet dental health myth we're busting as part of this series. Check out our previous posts to see how many of the others you knew!

Myth #5: “Anaesthesia-free dental cleaning is safe and easy.”

❌ It may look simple, but it has significant limitations.

When a pet is awake, it isn't possible to safely and thoroughly examine every part of the mouth or assess areas below the gumline.

A proper veterinary dental procedure allows the team to:

🦷 Examine the entire mouth
🦷 Assess the teeth and gums thoroughly
🦷 Clean above and below the gumline
🦷 Take dental X-rays when needed
🦷 Identify painful or diseased teeth
🦷 Perform extractions safely when necessary

The goal isn't simply to make the teeth look cleaner — it's to diagnose and treat the problems you can't see.

❤️ Healthy teeth aren't just about a pretty smile. They're about comfort, health and quality of life.

We're currently offering fixed pricing offer on dental procedures:

- Stage 1: £495 (cat) & £595 (dog) for up to 2 hours of treatment, including dental x-rays, charting, scale & polish and extractions.
- Stage 2: £400 for 90 minutes of additional & complex extractions.

Book a dental appointment with our team or give us a call to find out more! https://www.thepetvet.co.uk/contact/

A little behind-the-scenes look at our Feltham team… and yes, that’s Twister in the surgery! 😂🐾

Our colleagues spent some time playing games and getting to know each other better. It was a lovely way to share a laugh while building the relationships and teamwork that help a busy surgery run smoothly.

We’re proud of the team we’re building here in Feltham, and we can’t wait for you and your pets to get to know them too. 🧡

🐾 A lovely visit to The Pet Vet Feltham!

We recently welcomed a young student from
Wilson’s Grammar School, who interviewed our Veterinary Nurse, Renae, as part of a school project exploring heating and air conditioning systems for animal transport.

It was wonderful to see his curiosity, enthusiasm and interest in how we can make journeys safer and more comfortable for our furry friends. 🐶🐱

A big thank you to Renae for taking the time to share her knowledge and support his learning. We wish him all the best with his project! 🙌🏾
