Happy international dog day!

Every August 26th is a day to celebrate all things dog.

We will be celebrating with our own playful pups who like to get in all kinds of trouble. 🐾🐾

For July we have an adorable little ball of fluff called Reggie or as some of the nurses call him ‘Reg-man’. Many of our nurses are in love with this adorable and opinionated bunny. His owners say he can be rather cheeky at home, but our Head Nurse Ashley cannot possibly believe that her favourite boy could be naughty at home. Little Reggie has to come in for regular dental checks and to have his teeth burred down so that they do not get too sharp. We always love having him in as he is such a joy to be around. Our nurses cannot help but be a bit obsessed with his irresistibly adorable little face and we think he makes a wonderful pet of the month.

We'd also like to give a special mention to this little kitten - Bumble von Crumb, who was brought to us just two hours after being born after sadly being abandoned by his mum.
One of our brilliant nurses took on the challenge of hand-rearing him, and now, at 7 weeks old, he's doing brilliantly!
He regularly visits the practice for lots of cuddles from his extended family here at Vets4Pets Feltham, and we couldn't be prouder of how well he's doing.

World Snake Day 🐍 is celebrated annually on the 16th of July to help raise awareness about the conversation, ecological importance, and incredible diversity of over 3,900 species of snake.

This absolutely stunning boy visited us today. Jaffacakes is a 12 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He came in today for a flying visit to have his yearly injections and he was the bestest boy ever for the vet. 🐾🐾🐾

National Kitten Day is on July 10. Celebrating our cuddly kittens and all the joy that they bring. These miniature balls of energy snuggle their way into our hearts with no effort at all. Here are some of our own adorable kittens. 🐾🐾

Meet Kraken. Our pet of the month for May. This gorgeous boy has stolen everyone’s heart at practice .

Kraken is an outdoor cat who loved to wonder. On one of his more recent trip, he went out and came back in pain. Kraken’s owner was immediately concerned and rushed Kraken to us where he went through investigations and X-rays to find a cause.

It turns out that Kraken had been bitten by a fox or another cat and the wound had been infected. Multiple bandages changes and courses of antibiotics later and we are happy to announce that Kraken is fully fit and back to usual self just a tad bit more cautious when going out.

Kraken is a very brave boy and absolutely deserving of our pet of the month. 🐾

National Microchipping Month is here! It’s run by The Royal Kennel Club and Pet Log every June. The aim is to raise awareness about how important it is to microchip your pet and to ensure the details on the chip are up to date.

Happy World Bee Day! Celebrated every year on the 20th May it marks the birthday of Anton Jansa who was a pioneer of modern bee keeping. World Bee Day is designated to raise global awareness of the importance of bees and all pollinators. 🐝
