What I really need is your help for transport and rescue expenses to start this

Exciting news

The charity trustee has been signed & registration has been submitted 🙏

We have had a VIP in our kennels here at Cause 4 Paws 🐾 one of my previous very special foster dogs “Freddie” has given the once over and tried the dog hatch and beds 🙏🙏🙏

I am so grateful to Philippa who not only donated generously but furthermore purchased both aluminium raised dog beds & also brought over loads of donated items.

I am so pleased to welcome her as a trustee for Cause 4 Paws 🐾

Freddie was such a scared boy when he arrived and in 8 weeks he started to trust the world a little 🤏.

Philippa has advocated for her boy and worked incredibly hard and he has been working with Agility over the years.

We are so grateful that he has the best home as he gets a lot of support and unconditional love, adopters like this are very rare for a dog like Freddie who will always be a bit scared of the world.

Cause 4 Paws Dog Rescue is looking for incredible individuals in South Hampshire who want to change a life. We are seeking passionate foster carers and enthusiastic volunteers to join our mission.

🏡 Can You Offer a Foster Home?
We are looking for patient, understanding foster homes within South Hampshire. Many of our dogs are timid, shut down, or arriving from tough situations.
They don't need a frantic environment—they need time, space, and a steady heart to help them learn that the world isn’t a scary place.

Experience with rescue dogs, nervous behaviour, is a massive plus!

Meet Star ⭐️ 18 Months old for Adoption

She will be coming to me in foster with Cause 4 Paws Dog Rescue and after settling in she will be looking for a forever home 🏠 in South, Hampshire - will be rehomed within 50 miles of Fareham 🇬🇧

This girl has been through an awful time - please give her a warm welcome 🙏

I can not wait to meet this girl & find her a happy ever after home 🏡

✅Age: 18 mths old

✅Ideally would like a doggy friend of similar age as very active & playful

Current and permanent size: 38 cm approx
Location:Animal sanctuary
Currently in Romania - 🇷🇴 will be coming into my foster care prior to adoption in the UK 🇬🇧

History :

Star had an "owner" ... when she was 8 months old, she was thrown over a 2m fence by the so called "owner" 😭😡 and that broke her right leg badly 😭😭😭
On 14th of October she had surgery, a metal rod was installed so that the fracture heals, on 19th of January 2026 the metal rod was removed and she is completely healed! As you can see in the video she is very happy.
She was operated by the best orthopedic surgeon in Romania, Dr. Professor Horia Elefterescu.

Star is a beautiful, friendly, joyful girl, not shy at all 😊 confident, yes 😊 she loves people, attention and she loves other doggies as well.

She is an outgoing, confident and very good with other dogs.

She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, she will travel with 4dx test and, passport and Apha test.
