My beautiful girl Dandelion got her extensive health testing results back yesterday - all clear from all 50 different genetic health issues that can affect cats, including the ones that most commonly affect Maine C**ns including Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Dandy has a date planned soon with the lovely Vegas from our local prestigious cattery C**ns Cub Nursery in Calendar. Vegas has sired stunning kittens in a variety of colours and he is also extensively health tested and TICA registered just like Dandy.
I cannot wait to see what beautiful colours we get from these two 😍
Dandy has striking blue eyes. This can be controversial in the Maine C**n scene as this is not breed standard in non all white cats.
Dandy is a precious family pet with an amazing and cheeky personality. She loves my two young children but her heart truly belongs to her doggy sister Mirren and her little sister Soup.
Our motivation for the litter is wishing the joy of the experience as a family in seeing a litter be born and grow. We'd love to keep one kitten ourselves too 😍
Due to rare blue eyed cats being high risk to become "cash cows", this will be Dandy's only litter and all kittens will be neutered/spayed before going to carefully chosen homes with their paperwork and contracts. Rehoming will occur after 14 weeks ensuring healthy, well socialised and well rounded kittens 🥰
