I will be working with dogs in Alicante all week from the 6th October 2026

I will also be working with dogs in Alicante the whole of May and then again in Alicante the whole of September 2027.

Funny how donkeys and horses look so similar but are classified as separate species, whereas a chihuahua and Great Dane or Chinese crested dog and an Afghan hound look nothing like each other and are yet the same species?!

There are many reasons why our dogs don’t listen to us. These include:

1. They don’t understand what is required of them

2. The reward for not listening is far greater than the reward for listening

3. There is a breakdown in communication

4. They don’t trust us

5. They are over - aroused

Be patient. Deal with the underlying cause. Everything else will fall into place.
