We love all Corydoras but we do have a particular soft spot for this one the Black-saddled Cory (CW051) Hoplisoma sp. 'CW051'

As with all Corys they need a soft sand substrate so they can root around and forage to their hearts content without damaging their barbels or risking abrasion. Best kept in groups they are a delight to watch.

Fancy goldfish are wonderful! With their peaceful personalities and incredible range of shapes and colours they are very special.

Goldfish have excellent colour vision and can see more colours than humans, including ultraviolet light.

Serene, striking and wonderful parents, the Symphysodon or Discus are a lovely fish. A distinctive shape and featuring many bright colours these wonders hail from the Amazon basin.

FACT: Discus pairs share their parenting duties. New parents produce a secretion through their skin to feed their young ones, giving them a great start in life. We have a good range of beautiful Discus in store now.

We have a new special arrival!! A Hypostomus luteus or golden sailfin pleco.

Although he can fit in our plant pot at the moment, they grow to 45 cm so need plenty of space. They also go through significant colour changes as they grow. Starting out with black with lovely yellow speckles as seen here, as they grow, they develop a greater mix of yellow and black before finally the black speckles fade and yellow/gold covers the body.

What a beautiful creature!
