A little Ely Dog Park update 🐾

The recent hot and dry weather has definitely taken its toll on the ground, so we’ve been giving the park a little extra TLC.

You may notice some areas of fresh soil around the field, which we’ve added to help fill some of the larger cracks that have appeared during the dry spell and improve the ground where we can.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on conditions and carry out maintenance as needed, but in the meantime, thank you for bearing with us while the ground (and the grass!) waits for some much-needed rain.

A huge thank you to Yvonne at Progressing Partnerships Dog Training and Behaviour Centre – Dog Training & Behaviour Centre for everything she does to support our wonderful dog community at Ben’s Yard Ely. 🐾💚

From hosting our monthly Social Dog Walks on the first Monday of every month, to supporting the Ely Dog Park and our Dog Shows, Yvonne is always on hand to help bring dog owners together and create a welcoming, supportive community.

We’re so grateful for everything she and the team does and to all of you who continue to support her by joining the walks, visiting the Dog Park and getting involved in our dog-friendly events. It really does make a difference.

Did you know is a great spot to visit with your dog? 🐾

With plenty of open space to stroll and a warm welcome waiting in many of the shops, it’s an easy place to enjoy a day out together. Whether it’s a relaxed walk, a coffee stop or a little browse, four-legged visitors are very much part of the experience.

And if your dog needs a proper run, you can book in here with private 25 or 50 minute sessions in a secure field where they can really stretch their legs.

A good day out for you, even better for them.🐶
