I get quite a few budgie enquiries from people specifically looking for males because they’re considered much better talkers than females.

Although it’s true that males are more likely to become prolific talkers, female budgies are also perfectly capable of developing a great vocabulary. S*x can affect the odds, but it doesn’t determine the individual bird. With plenty of time, interaction and regular repetition, either s*x can become a great talker. 🗣️🐦

I’ve spent plenty of time handling them, so they’re already getting used to people and becoming confident little birds.

Several are already being reserved, so they likely won’t hang around for long!
