⚠️‼️Hot weather warning‼️⚠️

Due to the extremely high temperatures forecast this week, all walks are cancelled. Even in the mornings, temperatures are sitting around 20–24°C with full sun. As always, your dog’s safety is my absolute priority. While my usual cut-off is around 23°C (depending on breed, age, and individual tolerance), a full week of heat combined with exercise, excitement, and limited previous walks significantly increases the risk of overheating. Even in shaded or woodland areas, dogs can still struggle especially when they naturally want to run and play.

Walks have been swapped to home visits where possible. During visits, I’ll make sure your dog has toilet breaks, enrichment, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and settled 🥰

Please also be cautious outside of booked services—temperatures are expected to remain high into the evenings (some days still around 28°C at 8pm), which is too hot for walks. Always check reliable weather apps before heading out.

Dogs will be absolutely fine with reduced walks for a week, but they are not safe exercising in this heat. Heatstroke can happen quickly, even on a short walk, and is never ever worth the risk.
