🐾 Dot’s wedding weekend adventure! 💍🐶

We had the pleasure of looking after Dot last night after she played her very own starring role at her pawrents’ wedding! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🐾

It was only a short stay — so short, in fact, that we barely had time to take any photos! 📸😂 But Dot settled in like she’d been here before, relaxing straight away and making the most of her walks, playtime and plenty of fuss.

And of course, our daughter Quinn was absolutely delighted to make another four-legged friend! 🥰🐶

Thanks for choosing us to look after you after such a special day, Dot and congratulations again to her Pawrents. You’re welcome back anytime! 🐾💕

🏡 A little update from us! 🐾

It’s looking likely that we’ll be moving house in November, so we have lots to get organised between now and then! 📦

Because of the move (and getting settled into our new home), we won’t be able to take any new bookings for the rest of 2026. Don’t worry though — all existing bookings are secure and will go ahead as planned. ❤️

Our 2027 diary is now OPEN! 🎉 So if you’re planning a holiday next year and need a lovely, home-from-home place for your dog to stay, get in touch to secure your dates.

The best part? We’re staying right here in Gilmerton, just a short distance from our current home and our new house has a much bigger, secure garden for our four-legged guests to enjoy! 🐶🪴

And that’s not all… 👀 We’ll also be launching some exciting new services soon, so keep an eye out for more news!

🐾 Bailey! 🐾

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of spending the day with this little cutie, Bailey!

Bailey’s owners had a wedding to attend, so rather than an overnight stay, they asked us to look after her throughout the day and return her home at night — and of course, we were more than happy to!

Bailey settled in brilliantly and made herself right at home. She absolutely loved her cuddles, enjoyed plenty of attention, and discovered that our big dog bed makes the perfect spot for a cosy snooze… although she looks tiny in it! 🐶😂

At Paws at Paul’s, we don’t just offer overnight boarding. We can also provide day stays, giving you peace of mind that your four-legged friend is being well looked after while you’re out for the day. 🐾❤️

Welcome to our new followers - it’s great to have you here! 🐾

A little update from us…..

We’ve had lots of enquiries over the past week or so about our availability between now and the end of the year, so we thought it would be helpful to share a little update. 📆

We’re likely to be moving house over the next few months (pending the successful sale of our current property). The good news is that we’ll be staying very local, and Paws at Paul’s will be continuing as normal in our new home! 🐶❤️

All existing bookings are secure and can still be accommodated. However, while we wait for a little more certainty around our moving date, we won’t be taking any new bookings for September–December for the time being.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we navigate this exciting (and slightly chaotic!) time. 🏡🐾

We’ll keep you all updated as soon as we know more, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your pups to our new home! ❤️

🐾 Boo’s Stay! 🐾

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Boo to Paws at Paul’s for a fantastic 9-day stay! 🐶💕

Boo is such a great little character — always up for some fun, whether that’s enjoying her walks, having a good old play, or kicking back for some well-earned chill time. 🥰🌳🎾

She settled in brilliantly and made herself right at home, enjoying plenty of cuddles, attention and, of course, all the important doggy activities! 😴🐾

It was an absolute pleasure having you to stay, Boo. We’re so glad you had a lovely, relaxing holiday with us — and you’re welcome back anytime! ❤️

🐾 Arlo’s Stay 🐾

We’ve absolutely loved having Arlo stay with us this past week while his family enjoyed their holiday. ❤️

He has to be one of the most chilled, gentle dogs we’ve ever had the pleasure of looking after. Even in his senior years, he’s still full of energy and loved a good game of tug with our toys, as well as exploring on his walks down the Drum. With the warm weather this week, we made sure to head out during the cooler parts of the day so he could enjoy himself comfortably.

Our week has been filled with endless cuddles, tummy rubs, and plenty of love from this gorgeous boy. The house feels a little quieter without him this evening, and we’re already missing him so much.

We hope to welcome you back again soon, Arlo – you’ll always have a home from home with us. 🐾💙
