Some news which has us very excited at Aardvark! Our insect protein (which comes from the black soldier fly) has recently been found to effectively suppress the growth of C. perfringens in the gut of dogs.

What this means is that our insect protein can potentially significantly reduce cases of diarrhoea in dogs. That's all because up to 28% cases of diarrhoea in dogs may occur due to C. perfringens poisoning.

The use of black soldier fly can then potentially reduce the need for antibiotics in such cases and these suppressive effects are not found in animal meat protein sources.
