✨ GRADUATION DAY AT DOGGRO! ✨

A massive congratulations to our latest DogGro Little Learner puppy class graduates! 🎓🐶

Our pups have worked exceptionally hard mastering vital everyday skills, including:
🐾 Impulse control & manners
🐾 Attention around distractions
🐾 Socialisation & making best friends

It was so special watching each pup’s personality shine. We’re particularly proud of Sadie, who went from being too shy to say hi in the early weeks to initiating play and inviting friends over by week 6! 💕

Huge congratulations to the owners for putting in the hard work, we wish you all the very best for the future!

Two of our superstars missed the photo op at the end, but it was wonderful having a full class of amazing pups! 📸🌟

Next week our new class block starts and boy we can’t wait!!! 😆

If you would like to get involved, drop a DM, we’d love to have a chat ☺️🐶🐾

🐾 Puppy Graduation Day! 🐾

Congratulations are in order! Our Little Learners puppy class has officially reached the finish line 🏁 and I couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group of graduates. We unfortunately had a few puppies and owners missing for our last class due to unforeseen circumstances but I couldn’t be happier with how these little ones have grown.
Over the last six weeks, these pups (and their dedicated humans!) have worked through everything from basic cues and loose lead walking to building the confidence they need to navigate the world. Watching the bond between each owner and dog grow every week is truly the best part of my job! 🐕☺️

‼️Our May Puppy Class is now FULL‼️

Keep an eye out for our next class dates dropping soon! 👀

Does your dog drag you from one bush to the next? Denzel’s mum was in the same boat! Denzel was so focused on the environment that he’d forgotten his owner was even there.
In our first session, we went back to basics mastering lead etiquette and finding the right gear. Most importantly, we addressed Denzel’s love for sniffing. By learning how to satisfy that urge without sacrificing manners, we’ve found a beautiful balance.
Now, walks are no longer a tug-of-war, but a team effort. Well done to this duo!

Meet Milo 🐶🐾

Milo was only 14 weeks old when he and his mum came to me. He has just completed DogGro’s 1-2-1 4 week puppy training block! 🎓✨ This programme is designed to set your pup up with the best skills to get them started in life and build a strong, lasting relationship with their handler. 🤝🐕‍🦺
Milo’s mum’s main focus was to build a strong, reliable recall. 🔙💨 Working with a Beagle means working with one of the most powerful noses in the canine world! 👃🌍 Beagles are scent hounds, selectively bred for centuries to find a trail and follow it for miles. We wanted to build a rock-solid recall to ensure Milo could enjoy freedom off-lead while his mum had full trust that he would always return. 🌳🏃‍♂️

Phase 1: Building the Foundations 🧱🏗️
When we started, we didn’t just jump straight to "come." We focused on the essential building blocks of a reliable recall:

• Socialisation & Habituation: 🐕🎡 Ensuring Milo could remain calm and focused amidst the sights, sounds, and smells of the park, learning to be aware and not care, see people but not be overly excited to say hi to everyone or all dogs.

• Impulse Control: 🛑🧘 Mastering "Wait" and "Stay" to build the mental muscle needed to ignore distractions.

• Engagement & Relationship: ❤️🏆 Teaching Milo that his owner is the highest-value reward in any environment!

Phase 2: From Long-Line to Success 🧵💪
The first half of this video shows our very first session. This was Milo’s introduction to the long-line a vital tool for providing freedom while maintaining safety. 🛡️
Notice the focus on engagement and rewarding every single choice he makes to check back in! 🎟️✨

Phase 3: The Results 🏆🔥
The second half of the video features footage sent by his owner after our 4-week block. Look at speed and focus! ⚡👀 Despite the breed's natural instinct to follow a scent, Milo is now choosing his owner every single time. 🥇🙌

Ready to set your puppy up for success? 🚀🐶

Every breed has unique motivators and challenges. My 4 week 1-to-1 Puppy Block is specifically tailored to your puppy’s breed-specific behaviours and your personal goals. 🎯
Whether you’re struggling with recall, loose-lead walking, or general manners, we will build a solid foundation for a lifetime of partnership. 🐾🤝

📩 DM to book your 1-to-1 block and get your pup off to the best start!
