Thank you to our friends at Durham Land Registry office who have raised £1000 for us over the past few months.

We took Jenny along to say thank you and she definitely stole a few hearts!♥️

Hopefully someone will come and adopt her soon !🐕

🐾 Bedding Appeal for Our Dogs 🐾

We are in need of clean bedding donations to help keep our dogs warm, comfortable and cosy. ❤️

We would be very grateful for donations of:
✅ Towels
✅ Bed sheets
✅ Duvet covers
✅ Blankets
✅ Throws

Unfortunately, we cannot accept:
❌ Duvets
❌ Pillows
❌ Cushions or any items containing stuffing/filling

If you have any clean, unwanted bedding tucked away in a cupboard, please consider donating it to help our rescue dogs. Every item makes a difference and helps us provide comfort and care to the dogs waiting for their forever homes. 🐶

Donations can be dropped off at our rehoming centre in Coxhoe, or at either of our charity shops (Chester-le-street and Hartlepool)

Today at Durham Regatta, we were over the moon to see Jasper, who was adopted some time ago, living his best life with his fantastic new family.
This was him meeting Jenny, who is looking for her forever home and they had a little ‘moment’ that reminded us all why rescue dogs make the best pets. 🐕

🐾 Meet Daisy – she's looking for her forever home! 🐾

Daisy is a delightful 2½-year-old Staffy cross with a heart full of love to give. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, her confidence blossoms and you'll be rewarded with her absolutely adorable smile! 💕

This lovely girl enjoys her walks and is a pleasure to take out, walking nicely on the lead and enjoying exploring the world by your side. While Daisy loves people, she can find other dogs a little overwhelming, so she's looking for a home where she can be the only dog and continue building her confidence at her own pace.

Daisy could potentially live with older, dog-savvy children following successful introductions.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience and kindness with endless love and a wagging tail, Daisy could be the perfect match for you. 🐶❤️

Some work directly with the animals, others help to raise vital funds, help in our shops or help to keep the centre looking tidy and welcoming. You all make a huge difference to the lives of the animals in our care 🐾💕
