We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and professional After Care Advisor to join our dedicated team at The Pet Crematorium, Durham. If you are someone with experience in customer care or customer support with strong organisation and administration skills then this might be the job for you.
This is a unique and rewarding role where you'll support pet owners during a sensitive time, ensuring they receive exceptional care and service throughout their journey with us.
📍 Location: The Pet Crematorium Durham
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent position
Your Responsibilities:
✅ Answering telephone and email enquiries
✅ Supporting grieving pet owners with sensitivity and empathy
✅ Managing bookings and cremation records
✅ General administration and data entry
✅ Liaising with veterinary practices and clients
✅ Maintaining accurate documentation and records
✅ Occasionally attending home addresses to assist families with their pet's final journey, providing a compassionate and professional service
What We're Looking For:
🐾 Excellent communication and customer service skills
🐾 Strong organisational and administrative abilities
🐾 Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
🐾 Ability to work professionally in an emotional environment
🐾 A genuine love of animals and compassionate nature
🐾 Previous administration experience preferred
