A quiet walk for Ronnie and Reggie today, but that’s no surprise with the weather like it is. It tends to keep most people indoors, apart from the hardcore walkers or those taking a chance on a break in the rain.
We still got our usual daily stroll in, saw a few dogs along the way, but for the most part it was nice and calm out there. Nothing too eventful, just a steady, relaxed walk with the boys as normal.

Beanz' collection point was different today, which meant a completely different walk. With plenty of open countryside around us, we headed straight up the hill and, as usual, had the whole place to ourselves.

I don't know who was more eager to get off lead and start exploring — me or Beanz! We even flushed out a large deer, which was a pretty good sign that nobody had been through that area for quite some time.

The only thing keeping an eye on us was the weather. Storm clouds were building all around, with flashes of lightning and plenty of thunder in the distance. We thought we'd got away with it, but by the end of the walk one of the showers finally caught up with us. It came down a bit harder than expected, and while it wasn't anything too extreme, me and Beanz definitely got a little soaking before we made it back.

I could tell Bear was in a bit of a pully mood today, so within seconds of starting the walk, we went straight back to basics with a bit of lead work. Within 15 minutes, he was giving me some absolutely lovely heel work, happily walking right by my side.

That earned him complete freedom on the flexi for the next half an hour, and he made the most of it. To finish the walk, we spent the last 15 minutes back on some lovely loose lead work, with Bear once again walking nicely alongside me.

Really good job from Bear today. 👏🐾

A peaceful countryside stroll with Gunner along the riverside today. We mixed things up a little and headed a different direction, crossing the river a couple of times along the way.

When you're walking the same dogs every day, it's important to keep things interesting. Even small changes to the route can make a big difference, giving them new sights, smells, and things to explore.

A lovely, relaxed walk with a proper little gentleman. 🐾

Good to see Denzel again now the hot weather has gone. He doesn’t cope particularly well when it gets too warm, which is why I didn’t see him last week, so he was extra lively when I arrived to collect him today!

It took him about 10 minutes to settle down, but once we were out the door he was his usual calm, chilled-out self. We enjoyed a lovely quiet stroll with hardly anyone around. I think we only saw one other dog and a couple of people the whole walk.

Right at the end, we even spotted a tiny baby bunny. I don’t think Denzel noticed it was there, though! He also couldn’t resist getting his paws in the lake. Thankfully he was right at the end of the lead, so he couldn’t venture in any deeper.

A lovely, relaxed walk all round.

Just a nice, slow stroll this evening with Gunner. A little later than usual today as he'd been to the vets for some teeth cleaning, so he's been a bit groggy. That said, he's still his usual happy self—just with some fresher pearly whites!

Another fantastic walk with Ronnie and Reggie today. Ronnie's walk was fairly quiet, only seeing a couple of dogs, but by the time Reggie headed out, the park was packed.

Reggie had plenty of opportunities to practise staying calm around other dogs and handled himself brilliantly. We had one moment when a dog barked at him from across the field and Reggie answered back, but a quick correction and sit, and he switched straight back off and carried on walking calmly.

With so many dogs around, I was more focused on keeping an eye on everything than filming, but overall it was a really relaxed walk and another great day for both boys.
