Another recent commission, the recipient has been very patient.
I sponsored a class in a competition earlier this year and the winner recieved a framed portrait.

"My love of animals has been with me since being a little girl, but yet I never really considered that I could possibly help to make a difference for them. Perhaps being heavily influenced by a possession led mentality got in the way of my true values, or maybe I didn’t feel they ranked high enough in my list of priorities. Whichever, I now ask myself why, when saving the life of a flea battling to survive in the bird bath, is as equally important to me as caring for my fourteen-year-old cat Maddie.

I owe my life to wildlife and nature, because it was wildlife and nature that reopened my heart and reminded me who I truly was – a little girl who wouldn’t shoo a pigeon, who spent most Sunday afternoons picnicking in the countryside, who grew up and even during her façade still wouldn’t tread on a spider".
