🏡 Kai has found his forever home! 🧡

Sometimes, the wait is a little longer, but the right day is always worth waiting for. After spending some time with us at RAIN, Kai’s day has finally come, and he’s off to begin his next chapter with a loving family of his own.

To help him settle into his new home, Kai went with one of our RAIN adoption packs, kindly donated by Cookes Stores, along with some delicious treats from K9 Chew Co and Garden Bites. Thank you for helping make his new beginning extra special!

We’re so happy for you, Kai. Here’s to a lifetime of love, happiness and all the fusses you could ever wish for. 🧡

Roxy is ready to find her forever home!🐶

This 1-year-7-month-old Chihuahua cross is a little bundle of energy with a BIG personality! 🥰 She’s looking for an active family who can keep her busy with walks, playtime and positive training.

Roxy is still learning and would love a family who can help her grow into the best girl she can be. She may be able to live with another dog, but this is still being assessed. A home with children aged 16+ is recommended.

Could Roxy be your perfect little companion?

🏡 Apply for Roxy via the Rain Rescue website. Please share to help her find her forever home! 🧡

Meet Nelly, a 4-year-and-6-month-old Boston Terrier x Collie with a loving nature and so much affection to give! 🧡

Nelly has a little obsession with balls! Perhaps it’s her Collie traits shining through, but she absolutely loves a good game of fetch.

Nelly is also a little overweight and is looking for a loving home that will support her weight-loss journey. With regular exercise, plenty of encouragement and a family to cheer her on, she can work towards becoming a healthier, happier girl.

Nelly could potentially live with another dog following successful introductions, and she could also share her home with children. The kennel team are unsure how she would be around cats, so this would need to be carefully assessed.

Nelly is a real sweetheart who deserves a family of her own. She’s looking for someone who will love her unconditionally, support her on her journey to better health and enjoy lots of fun times together, especially playing fetch! 🐶

Could you be the one to give this ball-loving girl the happy ever after she deserves?

If you think you could offer Nelly a loving forever home, you can apply here: https://rainrescue.co.uk/animals/nelly-4-year-old-female/

RAIN has been nominated for Practice of the Year at the Petplan Veterinary Awards! 🧡

We’re incredibly proud to have our veterinary practice recognised in this way. At RAIN, caring for animals goes hand in hand with supporting the people and communities around them. Our vet team plays a vital role in giving vulnerable animals the treatment they need, while helping pet owners and working alongside others to improve animal welfare.

A huge thank you to Battersea and Petplan for their ongoing support of RAIN and for helping us develop our veterinary services to reach this stage.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Pets Foundation for their generous grant towards our veterinary facility, helping us strengthen the care we can provide to animals in need.

This nomination reflects the hard work of our team, the kindness of our supporters and the wider community that stands behind RAIN. From caring for animals to supporting people and helping pets stay in loving homes, we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. Together, we’re making a difference for pets and people, through every storm. 🧡

Every rescue starts with someone choosing to help.

When an animal arrives at RAIN, they need food, warmth, veterinary care and somewhere safe to recover.

Our weekly lottery helps us continue providing that care for animals who have been lost, abandoned or left vulnerable.

You get the chance to win, while your support helps us keep rescuing. 🐾🧡
