Windmill Dog Walking

I have been dog walking for 2 1/2 years now I never realised how much I enjoy it . Don’t get me wrong it does have its ups and downs, the different characteristics of the dogs, the pulling , the barking, the jumping up , the long winters in torrential rain and doom and gloom, the very hot summers like this year, walking dogs early in the morning and then pop in during the day as it’s to hot to take them out. But one of the toughest for me so far is when you have been walking a dog from a puppy for 2 years now and they have to move away . So Milly who stole a piece of my heart was my last walk with her yesterday, I displayed a lot of tears and I’m going to miss her so much . But wish her and her owner all the best for their new journey . Milly I will miss you so much . As dog walkers we do really create a bond with the dogs that we walk. 😢💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾😢

Every year , vets treat hundreds of cases of heat stroke in dogs, and unfortunately, some of these cases end tragically. You can still keep your pet cool on these hot summer days so please it is safer for them to skip a walk or walk them early morning and evening times when it might be cooler and more comfortable for your dog. A lovely weekend of dog sitting for this gorgeous bunch of fluff . Certainly kept me on my toes, especially two of them 🤣. The weather was hot but they had a beautiful garden to stretch their legs and explore 🐾🐾💕🐾🐾💕🐾🐾
