🐾 Knowledge can save lives. 💜

Whether it's hidden grass seeds or the dangers of heat stroke, being aware of the warning signs can make all the difference.

Take a few minutes to learn, check your dog after every adventure, and help keep them happy, healthy and safe. 💚

Here’s the truth about running a grooming business…

Most people see the finished groom.
The bows.
The fluffy transformations.
The happy dog collections.

But behind every grooming business is a professional juggling:
✂️ Long hours on their feet
✂️ Physical strain on their body
✂️ Difficult client conversations
✂️ Last-minute cancellations
✂️ Endless cleaning and admin
✂️ Constant learning to improve standards and welfare

Dog grooming is more than “playing with dogs.”
It’s skill, education, patience, animal handling, coat knowledge, business management, and genuine dedication to pet welfare.

At British Isles Grooming Association we believe groomers deserve recognition as skilled professionals — because the work they do matters.

If you’re a groomer reading this…
Be proud of what you do. ❤️
