🐝 Honey looking for her forever home 🐝
We believe Honey is around 1 year old and she is looking for a loving home where she can finally relax, feel safe and shine 💛
Honey was found underweight and eating from a bin, with no microchip and at the time she had fleas and worms. We took her in, fed and cared for her, and the very next day realised her ni***es had filled with milk. After searching the area where she had been found, we discovered her three kittens, who were around 5 weeks old at the time. Thankfully, all of her babies have now found loving homes, and Honey is ready for her own happy ending.
Honey has now been neutered, microchipped and had her first vaccinations.
Honey is an incredibly gentle, sweet natured cat. She loves to be stroked and gently cared for and will quietly come over to rub her head against you and ask for strokes. She has never hissed, scratched or shown any aggression, even when she had to be bathed when she was first rescued.
Honey would ideally suit a calm home where she can continue building confidence. We think she would be happiest as the only pet, or possibly with another gentle, calm cat who would give her time and space to settle. She can be shy at first and a little jumpy with loud noises, but every week she grows more confident as she learns she is safe.
She is beautifully low maintenance and easy to have around. During the day she is happy snoozing independently, and in the evenings she enjoys quietly watching you cook and being nearby. She doesn’t bother you when you’re eating, gives you space when needed, uses her scratching post and hasn’t scratched furniture in her foster home.
Honey would love access to a private garden away from busy roads, as she enjoys sitting and bird watching.
She really is such a gentle, beautiful little soul and would make a lovely companion for someone patient and kind who can give her the safe, loving home she deserves.
