The Rat Nanny

I'm currently doing intros with my girls and a very special neutered boy. This little lad (he is the Mink coloured rat in the photo) came to me with his brother for a holiday. Very sadly his brother crossed over unexpectedly and he needed a home instantly so I spoke with the owner and he is now with me. This does not mean he is "my" rat; he is her rat but he just lives with me. Her rat journey has come to an end for a while which is how this has come about. He is a rescue boy and has lost 2 brothers in less than a week 😢 so he's probably feeling rather confused. I'm hoping he will have a long and happy life in our home and his owner is welcome at any time to come and visit with him and have a rat bath if she needs it.

Welcome Gus (I already have a neutered boy called Gus 😂) to our family.

Having a quick snack on some wheat germ grass is always good fuel when you're creating chaos on free roam 😁 this little girl and her sisters are from Marigold Stud and are as high energy and entertaining as the originals. Nothing better than chaos creating rats 🥰🥰🥰

Ratrations.co.uk has posted about the Savic SRS cages. This is the cage I use in my Rat Room for guests. It's easy to put together on your own and has a lovely deep base.

The most recent photo of some of the play area your rats will enjoy when they stay in our home. If your rats are free roam all day then that is not a problem for me, as if I am home they can free roam. I will never leave your rats unattended if they are free roam all day. Whilst I won't sit in the room all day, I do pop in and do a head count and make sure everyone is happy. What isn't shown is the big TicTac wheel and the little hidey homes dotted about the room.
This room is the coolest room in the house so during any extreme heat, please be assured your rats are cool and comfortable. Thanks to Liv at Rattilodgey Pet Sitting and Boarding we also have frozen corncobs for rats to munch on, and I have made mini frozen fruit purée buttons for them to enjoy too so they will stay cool with those treats too.
