Dogs have been a constant and cherished part of my life, each one adding a unique chapter to my journey. As I welcomed Westies, a Rottweiler/Labrador mix, a Cocker S

paniel, and various Labradors into my life, I quickly realised the importance of understanding canine behaviour. Each breed brought its own personality, quirks, and challenges. My Scottie, with his feisty demeanor, taught me about resilience and loyalty. My West Highland Terrier with his playful but challenging nature ignited my passion and motivation to dive deeper into the world of canine behaviour studies. I’ve been actively pursuing ongoing personal development in this field, focusing on positive reinforcement and games-based training. This approach has been particularly helpful for my anxious and sometimes reactive dogs. By incorporating fun and engaging methods into our training sessions, I’ve seen remarkable progress, allowing my pups to thrive in a more relaxed and confident manner. Of course, dog ownership isn’t all about training and challenges. I treasure our long walks in the woods, where we explore nature together, stretch our legs and clear our heads. Playing tug, fetch, and teaching them little tricks keep their minds stimulated and our relationship strong. These moments of joy remind me of the simple pleasures of life with dogs, turning every day into an adventure filled with love and laughter.

Happy 8th birthday to my Reggie! My gorgeous, loving, intelligent, full of attitude, Westie 🥰

Couldn’t resist taking these two for a swim today. The weather has been glorious. As you can see, they loved it!

Coco was full of beans this morning. She found the remnants of a tennis ball and she insisted I threw it for her, and I did 🙈😂! She then went for a paddle. Milo and Tilly were had a more sedate walk 👌

Penny and I had a lovely quiet walk this afternoon. For some dogs, finding a quiet environment without other dogs is just what is needed, especially if they get anxious. We had a fun time, had a run around and chased each other, and then just sat in the field. Precious time. 🥰

A day of two halves. Pouring with rain. This morning, first Coco and then Milo and Tilly had very wet walks. By late afternoon when I took Reggie and Norman out, it was warm and sunny. Don’t think it’s going to last though 🤔

My cameraman joined me on this morning’s walk with Indi. Thank you Richard! We had lots of fun and tomorrow is a sad day as his mam and dad will be home from their holiday and I won’t be walking him again (unless they need me too 😋)

Happy 5th birthday Norman the Foreman 🥳. My baby 🥰. Great walks with Coco, Indi and a visit to Tig too.

I love this cooler, damp and blustery weather! Today Coco showed off her latest haircut. She looks gorgeous. Indi had the devil in his eye and finds fun in everything and Milo and Tilly are so at home in the woods.

A couple of BIG dogs today, Indi and then Nala. Then teeny weeny Penny who is small but mighty 😂🥰.

I had so much fun on my walks today. Indi doesn’t have the skills to be off lead but we still played fetch with a stick. Milk and Tilly, the water babies, found tel ponds for a swim 🙈😂.
