YOU CAN LOVE YOUR DOG DEARLY… AND STILL BE NEGLECTING THEIR NEEDS. 💜

A controversial statement? Perhaps. But an important conversation we need to have.

At WOOF, I sometimes meet dogs who are clearly adored but whose coats tell a very different story.

For Cockapoos, Poodles and other curly-coated breeds, grooming isn’t a luxury. It’s essential to their health and well wellbeing.

Severe matting isn’t just tangled fur. It can painfully pull on the skin, restrict movement and conceal sores and infections.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: allowing a dog to suffer through prolonged, severe matting can amount to neglect.

But neglect isn’t always intentional. Sometimes owners simply don’t understand their dog’s grooming needs.

💜 At WOOF, I’m here to help you and your dog, advice on at home grooming as well when your BFF is bought to my salon.

I’ll happily help you understand your dog’s coat, choose the right brushes and establish a grooming routine at home — even before your dog’s first appointment.

If your dog is matted or you’re struggling with their coat, please don’t feel embarrassed to ask for help.

I created WOOF Grooming for dogs who need things done a little differently — nervous dogs, rescue dogs, seniors, puppies and those who’ve earned themselves the slightly unfair label of “difficult”.

Because sometimes they’re not being difficult. They’re simply afraid.

At WOOF, there is no rushing to get the next dog through the door. Just gentle , one-to-one, grooming with plenty of patience — and the occasional strategic treat! 🐶🦴

🐾❤️ MEET WINNIE – FROM CHINA TO CHESHIRE ❤️🐾

This beautiful little girl is Winnie, a 4-year-old rescue who has had an extraordinary journey. Winnie was rescued from a blood farm in China and arrived in Cheshire just 12 weeks ago. 🇨🇳➡️🇬🇧

Now she’s beginning her new life — and today she came to WOOF Grooming for some very gentle TLC. 🥰

At WOOF, I have a real passion for welcoming rescue dogs and dogs who need a little extra patience, kindness and understanding. For Winnie, grooming is about much more than her coat. It’s about building trust, respecting her boundaries and helping her discover that being handled and groomed can feel safe.

There’s no rushing and no expectation of a “perfect groom”. The dog in front of me always comes first. ❤️

At WOOF Grooming, we’re passionate about helping rescue dogs find the loving forever homes they deserve.

Meet Arun, an adorable 12-year-old Romanian rescue with Pawprints to Freedom – Safe Haven Kennels in Nantwich.

💔 Arun has spent more than FIVE YEARS living in kennels.

He’s now 12 and desperately deserves a quiet, loving home where he can finally experience the comfort, security and TLC of being someone’s much-loved dog.

If you can’t adopt, you can still help. Pawprints welcomes volunteers to walk and spend time with the dogs, and there are opportunities to foster dogs waiting for their forever homes. 🐾
