We are a UK based volunteer team who are passionate about dog rescue. UK registered charity 1209645. Saving Souls Animal Rescue Registered Charity 1209645.

Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and help find homes for dogs in Shelters and Pounds across the Republic of Cyprus. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped before being rehomed. Most of our dogs are in Cyprus but are looking for homes in the UK. We have a small number of dogs in foster or kennels in the UK. You can view all the dogs we have available on our website here:

Adoption fee for a neutered adult is around £720, this includes travel to the UK and preparation for adoption: neutering, vaccinations, blood tests and health check, pet passport and micro chip. Complete our Pawfect Match form to be matched with a dog:

Oh my! Look at the cuddle and smile on Masha 🤗🥰

You can tell she wants her own person, her own family to call her own. Not sharing time that’s left with the volunteers with 40+ other dogs 🥹

Masha was found in the forest, lying completely still. She was severely dehydrated and had no energy left. She had already given up and laid down to die 💔

I have no doubt she was a discarded hunting dog. Thrown out when of no use to them and left to fend for herself 💔

The people who found her decided to check if, by some miracle, she was still breathing. And incredibly, she was. So they brought her to Roberts Dog Sanctuary.

It’s truly a miracle that Masha turned out to be healthy.

🤗 She’s a very affectionate girl.

🚶 She’s a smart and active girl.

🧒 She’s great with children.

🐕 She gets along well with other dogs — both boys and girls.

🐈‍⬛ She’s passed a cat test at the shelter.

Masha will be vaccinated, microchipped, blood tested, and neutered. She comes with rescue back-up, and a home check applies.

We posted about Fern a while ago and had some lovely applications, but none quite right, so I thought I’d update the requirements and see if we can get Fern (and Ivy) a home 🙏

📍 Both are currently in foster in Crewe
🐈‍⬛ Living with cats in the foster home
🐕 Need to go as a bonded pair or there must be a resident dog or access to daily play dates 🤗

Beautiful Ivy and Fern are ready to find loving homes where they can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all the wonderful things life has to offer.

Ivy and Fern would ideally love to be adopted together as a bonded pair, as they share a special connection and companionship.

However, they can also be adopted individually, providing their new home has a friendly resident dog or dogs they can interact with and spend time with daily. Ivy and Fern are social and enjoy canine company, so regular interaction with other dogs is an important part of their happiness and wellbeing.

Their ideal home would offer plenty of love, patience and understanding, daily companionship and interaction with resident dog(s), opportunities for exercise, play and enrichment, and a committed family ready to give them the forever home they deserve.

Whether they find their forever home together or separately, our biggest wish is for Ivy and Fern to have loving homes where they will never be short of companionship — both human and canine.

I simply cannot believe that this boy is being overlooked 😭 is it because he’s black? I thought everybody loved an older black Labrador type? 🤷‍♀️…must just be me then 😔

Meet Kane, he’s a 6 year old black Labrador type, good with people and dogs.

Kane is a black Labrador and 6 years old. One of the most popular types of dogs in the UK yet Kane is still waiting his turn? His best friend in the shelter was finally adopted last summer and Kane was left behind, almost a year ago. They had been together for over a year, so now, more than ever, Kane needs to find his happy ever after.

Kane is a good well rounded boy and can respond to basic commands. He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes and relishes at the opportunity for attention and a way to burn off energy. He is super cuddly and will be a wonderful sofa dog, but will also require decent walks and new adventures.

Kane will need ongoing basic training and some patience to help him settle into home life. He is your typical Labrador - super friendly with everyone he meets, excitable, and food oriented.

This lovely boy will suit most home settings - all he asks for is affection, nice walks, a roof over his head, and regular meals. And he will shower you with love.

We have no doubt that he will be the most wonderful companion.

💔CYPRUS HOME NEEDED PERLEESE🙏

We should be celebrating, but we can’t. 💔
After over 365 days waiting in a cage, Simba finally has a foster offer. He is going to get the chance he has waited so long for, to experience a home, love, comfort and a life outside of a kennel. ❤️

But while Simba gets his chance, his sister and kennel mate, Nayia, is being left behind.

For over a year, all Nayia has known is Simba by her side. Now, she is alone in that same cage, watching him leave while she stays behind. We are heartbroken for her, and we know she is too. 💔

So today, we are appealing for a foster home in Cyprus for Nayia.

Nayia is around 3–4 years old and is a wonderfully sweet, loving girl. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home and needs someone who can give her the patience, security and love she deserves. But please do message us if you think you could offer her a home, we can discuss and answer any questions.

We do need to be honest that fostering Nayia may become a long-term commitment, but in return, you could be giving her the most precious gift of all: a chance to finally know what it feels like to have a home. 🐾❤️

Hollie has been waiting in kennels for so long now.

It’s so unfair on Hollie, she’s been stuck in kennels in South Wales since January and had very little interest 💔

She flew to the UK when she was 4 months old. Due to changes in family circumstances they had to give her up 😢

She is 1.5 years old and medium sized. She is a very active, energetic girl who loves to run and play.

She is great with people.

She would thrive in a quiet home with older children and an active family who can give her the exercise and stimulation she needs.

We are urgently looking for a foster or forever home for her—she truly deserves to be happy🙏

Can anybody help Apollo????🙏
We need to find him a home in the next couple of weeks otherwise he’ll be in kennels again 💔 he’s just found out how great it is to be in a home so it would be so sad to see him go back to Kennels again 😭 I absolutely love this boy. I want to see him in his own home 🙏

He is currently in Aylesbury.

I have been trying for this boy for 6 years and never has anything worked 🥲

He is so lovely. I first met Apollo years ago when he was living in an old farm building with his sister. He had been there years and had to move as it was shut down so he went to kennels with Vaso. He and his sister were at Vaso’s kennels sharing a small cage for nearly 3 years and we took the decision to fly them to the UK to give them a chance of a home so they didn’t die in a cage only ever having known rescue and cages

Athena is adopted and is now living the dream with her new sister and mum😍

Apollo is now in foster and has spent the last 3 weeks in a home however he can only stay until the fosters go away on September 20th.

How heart-breaking will it be for him to go back to a cage again after just 3 weeks of a bed and a sofa and daily walks😭

· Apollo is looking for a cat free and dog free home. He has not been socialised with either so we need a cat and dog free home for Apollo please 🙏

· He would love a home with maybe an older family who likes walks but not too far.

· He is a big dog so somebody who is ready for a larger dog.

· He doesn’t really pull unless he sees something he wants to investigate and walks really well on the lead.

· He is housetrained and he is polite.

· He is very respectful and is an all-round obedient boy. He gives his paw and sits nicely for treats.

· He is a wonderful calm dog who is happy to sit by your feet after his walk and he needs to have his own family.

It is time this boy found his own home he so deserves it. We prefer he is an only dog although he is ok with other dogs but just wants to be left alone. He should finally get the attention he so deserves and a soft bed to lie on . He is approx. 9 years old and is a healthy boy who is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.

I’m gutted for Jax 😔 we thought he had a home to go to on this flight but they have pulled out 💔

We’d love to see this young boy in a home. He’s currently in a home in Cyprus.

I am an 11-month-old boy who has been living in a family home, but sadly they are no longer able to keep me and my friend Darcy anymore. It’s a big change for a young lad like me, but I am staying positive and looking forward to finding a forever family to grow up with!

I am a "fantastic pup" with a wonderful personality. I am already used to the hustle and bustle of a home; I have been living with other dogs, cats, and children, so I am very well-adjusted and ready to fit right into a new family circle.

I am a low-energy boy, which means I’m very happy to just relax and be by your side. I am also very good on the lead, making our walks together a lovely, calm experience. Because I’ve already had such a great start living with a family and have such a chilled-out nature, I would make an excellent first dog for someone looking for a loyal, easy-going companion.

I totally messed up for Marvel and I’m heart broken that I’ve cost him his chance to fly on this flight 😭💔

I hadn’t noticed he had a wonderful application that had come in, and by the time I’d contacted them they had reserved another dog 😔😢😢

So I must find Marvel a home now! He’s already been through so much…

Marvel was found by a man who didn’t know what to do or who to ask for help regarding this poor boy.

Due to his circumstances, Marvel was kept tied in the man’s yard for 6 months while he tried to seek help for him.

A lovely lady offered to help and took him to a private kennel, where she has been caring for him.

Now, he’s thriving, gaining weight, and radiating joy. Marvel is ready to leave his past behind and step into a forever home where he can finally experience the love, freedom, and playtime he’s always deserved.
