Early training session today with Emily and Taffy before a last minute drive.

Emily and Taffy working through a grid of 4 fences with one canter stride in between a real improvement on straightness.

On flat Emily been riding a diamond in all three paces to improve straightness, she dislikes this exercise.
But it is showing real improvement.

Hello September !

We have a great month planned for you here at Swallowfield.

We are hosting lots of different events, clinics and training days. Our next pick and mix camp is also on 10th October.
We will also be adding some more cross country schooling dates in now we have had some rain - the going is absolutely fab.

We will be looking to add an evening dressage once a month too - Monday or a Friday evening - if anyone has a preference, please add in the comments 👇

Well yesterday I transported Sophie and her lovely horse to Offchurch Bury for the Cotswold Cup. Luckily they had early times and missed most of the bad weather.

Hot section in the 80cm Sophie did well and finished 12th

As well as transport yesterday my job is to coach Sophie for the dressage and SJ, XC I get to sit back and watch as they stormed round.
