A little bit of training was on today’s agenda! 🩷

We practised loose lead walking (still very much a work in progress 😂) and worked on his excitement around people and other dogs.

Rather than letting Sonny rush over to say hello, we practised letting him observe, calling his name and rewarding him when he chose to focus back on me. 🐶

He’s still got plenty to learn, but every little bit of progress counts! ⭐️

Every walk is an opportunity to learn, explore and build confidence. 🩷🐾

It feels like just yesterday he was this tiny, wobbly little puppy discovering the world for the first time! 🥲

We're still working on loose lead walking and building those good walking habits, but he's gradually becoming more confident and increasing the length of his walks. 🦮

Every dog deserves walks that are safe, fun and suited to them. Whether they’re a tiny puppy taking their first steps outside or an older dog who just loves having a good sniff around. This is why at ‘Sonny’s Walks and Woofs’, I offer tailored walks, suited to each dogs needs. 🩷

Hi everyone, I’m Isla! I’m 22 and based in Coventry, and I thought I’d take a little moment to introduce myself and share a bit about me and why I’ve decided to start this new chapter. 🩷

I’ve always been someone who absolutely loves animals. I’ve grown up around them all my life, and they’ve always brought me so much happiness. At home, I’m kept busy by my two hamsters, Albie and Milkshake, and my Cavapoo puppy, Sonny, who has definitely brought a whole new level of craziness into my life! 😛

Beyond my adoration for animals, I enjoy reading, colouring and anything crafty. I occasionally take day trips away from the city to explore the beach, independent coffee shops and the quiet life. ☕️

For as long as I can remember, caring for others has been a huge part of who I am. I spent the last 4 years working in a nursery, and although I’ve loved my time working with children, I am keen to explore my passion for animals through a career based approach.😊

I love building bonds, making others feel safe and comfortable, and knowing that I’m making a little difference to someone’s day. So, rather than leaving that part of me behind, I’ve decided to take that passion in a new direction and explore it through my love of animals. 🐾

This is something I’m really excited about, and I’m looking forward to learning, meeting lots of lovely people and (most importantly!) getting to spend my days surrounded by animals. 🥰

I’m so excited to share that I’m in the process of setting up my very own dog walking and pet sitting business; Sonny’s Walks and Woofs! 🐶🐱🐰💕

I’m currently looking to build up my lovely first group of clients in the Coventry area, and I’m hoping to start taking bookings in the coming weeks! 🥰

I’ll be offering:
🦮 Dog walking
🏡 Dog & cat drop-in visits
💤 Overnight pet sitting in your own home
🐇 Small animal visits/holiday care
