Pluto the Clumber Spaniel who has a bit of an obsession with sheep! 🐑

He once slipped his lead and chased some sheep around the field. Whilst Pluto is super friendly, the sheep obviously don’t know that, and his owners want to make absolutely sure it never happens again.

I’d been racking my brain trying to think of somewhere we could get Pluto some controlled sheep exposure… so we booked a visit to the farm! 😄

It didn’t feel much like work, to be honest, other than the time away from my family, it rarely does, but this one genuinely felt like a school trip! 😅

Pluto did absolutely amazing! He was able to experience sheep up close in a controlled environment, and he handled it brilliantly.

Next stop.. a field with sheep.. on the long line, of course!

Meet Odin 😍 Odin gets frustrated when other dogs stop playing and can become very vocal, barking at them, jumping and trying to keep the interaction going. He's also far too full-on during play.

It’s fun for Odin… not so much fun for the other dog..

Unless, of course, that dog is Thalia. 😄

Odin met his match and got told off a few times when he pushed things too far. Whilst his behaviour reduced and he definitely understood that Thalia wasn’t like the more timid dogs he was used to, he was still far too intense.

And that tells us a lot about the level of overstimulation and arousal Odin experiences during interactions with other dogs.

Between Thalia teaching him some manners and me teaching him how to regulate himself, I’ve no doubt we’ll have Odin behaving much more appropriately around other dogs in no time.

He’s a 1-year-old Doberman, and we actually worked with Odin a good few months ago when he was a pup. It's good to have them back to brush up on a few things and get his behaviour around other dogs in order 💙

Teddy is his name… Teddy is his nature! 😍

Teddy is an 8-month-old American Akita. A lovely big boy, but a little bit of an excitable goofball around other dogs! 😂

He needs some work on his impulse control, neutrality around dogs and, most importantly, building stronger engagement with his owners.

His first session was a massive success! He has absolutely brilliant owners who are committed to putting the work in, and we’re really looking forward to seeing his progress.

A baby Giant Schnauzer! Aria is just 4 months old and had limited socialisation before finding her new home. She’s slightly nervous, a little bit sassy, and absolutely massively adorable! 😍

We’re working on all things puppy, building her confidence, teaching her that the world is a safe and enjoyable place, and paving the way for a happy, content and fulfilled life alongside her amazing brother, Enzo. 💙

She’s already such a little character, and I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Well-timed, fair corrections are absolutely necessary for a free, balanced, healthy dog’s life.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is absolutely full of sh*t.

Dogs need boundaries, consequences and clarity just as much as they need rewards, affection and freedom.

Balanced training means knowing when to use each.

A Giant Schnauzer with a giant character! 😍

Enzo is 8 months old and he’s an amazing boy. Well-balanced, confident and an absolute pleasure to work with..

He just needs a little more work proofing his recall around distractions and taking it from sometimes reliable to always reliable.

He also has a sister, Aria, who will be joining us next week. She’s just 4 months old! You can imagine they bounce off each other..

His owners have done a really good job with him, and it shows 👏

I’ve trained all 3 of these dogs… and they couldn’t be more different!

Our favourite Staffy, Klaus, used to be absolutely petrified of being outdoors due to an extreme fear of anything loud following a traumatic event.

Doris, the lovely Vizsla, once pulled her owner over so badly that they ended up with concussion.

And Thalia, the Rottie.. well, she’s just a princess, if you don’t already know! 👑😂

Three very different dogs, three very different challenges, but all three have come such a long way 💙 Apart from Thalia.. she's always been a princess. 😄
