2 months of progress for little Rio 🐾🐢

Rio came to me after developing reoccurring lameness after surgery for a luxating Patella two years ago.
Along with some mild discomfort as well as reduced range of motion, we also found a lot of built up compensatory habits which led to further restrictions and an overall weaker posture.

Rio has been receiving a mixture of Laser therapy, myofascial release and therapeutic exercise with both myself and his carer.

While we still have work to go, his lameness has resolved, he no longer feels he has to guard his knee and look at the improvement in his posture so far 😍

I may technically be a business, but behind the 'business' is a whole lot of my heart and soul 🐾🩷 but this post also shows some of the other parts that also go in to it.

All consults are free from judgement, open to all as well as progressive and research led.

Happy 2026 βπŸ’•
And apologies for the radio silence on here recently! In the last quarter of 2025, my little business grew a lot more than I imagined meaning I got to help and support many wonderful animals and their carers - so firstly, thank you for trusting me to be part of their team.

Unfortunately, being that busy did mean further things, like social media, had to take a backseat. But in 2026, I do want to ensure I have time to share further useful information, the benefits of physiotherapy as well as adorable photos from my working days 🩷

In 2026, we have big plans πŸš€

Thank you to everyone (pets carers, Vets, friends and family) who have supported my small business. It means the 🌎

IGGY 🩡 Yesterday one of my favourite good boys said goodbye to his life in Surrey, as his family move to a new part of the country.

This incredible dog never fails to amaze me or make me smile. Since being rescued 18 months ago he has taken everything in his stride and been an absolute star for his weekly physio visits.

I will miss this cheeky face but look forward to hearing about his continued progress 🩡

MISSING - my friend's dog has been missing since Friday evening. He was spotted this morning near Garson's Farm (Esher) near the lookout. Please contact myself or with any sightings. He is a very timid boy so will be very scared.
He is wearing a red collar with a tag and is Id Chipped.

How stunning is Kimchi? 😍

Cats benefit from physiotherapy too - it is just about setting them up to thrive in the environment (and understanding cats are NOT small dogs)

Cats are independent beings and love feeling in control of a situation. Kimchi is no different, which is why with her we use a variety of items - including a box, which she has the choice to go into at any point during her sessions. We work around her.

Physiotherapy sessions should to be the benefit of the animal, not the therapist or carer. They should always feel comfortable in their environment and be given free choice to engage.

✨ Superstar Jess ✨
Jess has now been signed off after 3 months of physiotherapy for surgery on her knee.
This also, importantly, means she can now go back to being a therapy dog in hospitals and all the other important volunteering work she does with her carer πŸ’•

Jess' recovery has concentrated on strength building, mobility and compensatory issues.
Physiotherapy post surgery helps to ensure a strong and smooth recovery as well as helping to limit future compensatory or mobility issues.
If you would like to know more, please get in touch.
