I'm back! 🐾

After a week off, it's straight back into a pet sit today... and just in time for the heatwave! ☀️

I had the best week, starting with seeing Harry Styles at Wembley before heading to the Isle of Wight Festival the following day. It was an incredible few days, although I wouldn't exactly call it a relaxing holiday... my legs are definitely feeling it! 😂

I'd absolutely recommend the festival to anyone. I can't believe I'd never been before, especially as my husband and girls have been so many times over the years.

Now it's back to doing what I love, making sure your pets are safe, happy and comfortable while you're away, especially in this hot weather. ❤️🐾

Happy National Dachshund Day! 🌭🐾

Of course today's post had to be dedicated to Dave and Otto. ❤️

These two have become very familiar faces on the Snuggle Sitters page, and it's easy to see why. They are full of character, always make me laugh, and are experts at demanding cuddles and attention.

Dachshunds really are a breed like no other. They might be little, but they have the biggest personalities and leave a lasting impression on everyone they meet.

Happy International Dachshund Day to Dave, Otto, and every other wonderful sausage dog out there. Give them an extra cuddle from me today!

I'm officially off duty for a few days! 🐾💛

I'm kicking things off with Harry Styles tonight, then heading to the Isle of Wight Festival for a few days of music, fun, and a chance to recharge.

When the planets align... ✨🐴

On Sunday, the planets aligned and I managed to get Rupert out to a dressage competition.

One of the challenges of running your own business is that you're often the one making sure everyone else's plans happen, and your own can end up taking a back seat. But with the competition only 15 minutes from the yard and some careful planning around my pet sitting bookings, we made it work.

Rupert was a bit of a tit in the collecting ring and certainly kept me busy, but when it mattered, he pulled it out of the bag and produced a really lovely test.

It was such a nice reminder of why it's important to make time for your own hobbies and goals too. Looking after your pets is something I absolutely love, but spending a few hours doing something for myself left me feeling refreshed, motivated and ready for another busy week of caring for your four legged family members. ❤️

Last night I actually got to spend a couple of hours with my husband and some lovely friends celebrating a very special little girl's 8th birthday 🎂💖

When you're away pet sitting for long periods, it's amazing how much you miss the simple things, like sitting down together for dinner and having a proper catch up. I absolutely love what I do, but being away from home so much can be tough, especially when it means spending time apart.

It was lovely to have a few hours together last night, and it reminded me how much I'm looking forward to next week. We're off to the Isle of Wight Festival for a few days of camping, good music, a couple of drinks, plenty of dancing, and some much needed time together before another busy summer of pet sitting.

Now it's back to the dogs, but I'm definitely counting down the days! ❤️

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was all raincoats and soggy paws, and today we’ve been soaking up the sunshine.

We made it out to the fields at Lodge farm Dog Walking Paddocks this afternoon for a proper run around, lots of sniffing, exploring and play in paddock 4. It really is my favourite paddock, there is just so much for the dogs to do and keep their noses busy.

Rosie had the best time, full of joy, running like she is flying across the field. One of those moments where you can just see how happy a dog feels in the open space 💛

Anyone else feeling a bit cheated by June so far? ☔🥶

One minute we were enjoying the sunshine, the next I'm back in my big winter hoodie wondering what happened!

It's cold, wet, grey and miserable out there today, and I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not ready to be dressed for winter again.

Here's hoping the sunshine makes a return soon because this weather is definitely not the June I ordered! ☀️😂

I'm a bit behind on posting, so here's a little throwback to the Bank Holiday weekend spent with Lily and Luna! 🙈🐾

Between looking after dogs, spending time with the horses, and helping out with some work for my husband, my social media posts have fallen a bit behind lately!

The weather was incredibly hot, which meant setting alarms for early morning walks before the pavements warmed up, followed by plenty of snoozing, shade seeking and keeping cool for the rest of the day. ☀️

The girls were absolute stars all weekend and it was lovely to have their company. Looking through these photos has reminded me that I've got lots of lovely visits to catch up on sharing, and Lily and Luna definitely deserve their moment in the spotlight. 🥰❤️
