❤️ A LITTLE PERSONAL UPDATE

I also wanted to share something with my existing and potential new clients.

Unfortunately, I’m currently going through a bereavement within my family, which has been a difficult time for me and those close to me.

I’m sharing this because I’ve always believed that communication, honesty and trust are incredibly important, especially when people are trusting me to look after their much-loved pets.

I’m still committed to providing the best possible care and continuing to grow Happy Tails. However, I hope you’ll understand if there are occasions when I take a little longer than usual to respond to messages or need some flexibility around family commitments.

I will always do my very best to keep everyone updated and communicate clearly regarding bookings.

One thing that won’t change is how much I care about the animals I look after. In many ways, spending time with them is one of the things that brings me happiness, especially during difficult times. 🐾❤️

We’re delighted to share another exciting milestone for Happy Tails Dog Walking & Pet Care! 🐾

As Happy Tails continues to grow, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve the services I offer and make sure every dog in my care enjoys a safe, comfortable and happy experience.

I’m excited to announce that my new Happy Tails vehicle is now equipped with a dedicated dog transport system! 🚗🐕

This is a big step forward for the business and means I’m now in a better position to welcome more dogs into the Happy Tails family and offer more opportunities for group dog walks! 🌳🐾

Choosing someone to look after your pet isn’t like choosing just any other service.

You’re trusting someone with a member of your family — and that’s exactly why I created Happy Tails. ❤️

I’m Tom, the person behind Happy Tails, and my journey into pet care started with a lifelong love of animals.

I studied Animal Management & Welfare before continuing my education in Wildlife Conservation and completing my degree. But alongside the qualifications, I’ve always believed that one of the most important things when working with animals is patience, understanding and recognising that every pet is different.

That’s the approach Happy Tails was built around.

The business originally began as Powell’s Pet and Home Care, before growing and developing into Happy Tails.

Today, I provide dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits and care for dogs, cats and other animals — but Happy Tails is about much more than simply providing a service.

🐾 Nervous pet? I’ll take the time to build their trust.

🐾 Reactive dog? I’ll work with you to understand their individual needs and routines.

🐾 Going away? You’ll receive regular photos, videos and updates so you can see how your pet is doing.

🐾 New client? We’ll have a meet & greet so you can get to know the person you’re trusting with your pet.

I’ve had the privilege of watching nervous dogs become comfortable around me, building long-term relationships with regular clients and caring for animals of different breeds, ages and personalities.

Those experiences are exactly why I love what I do.
