🌿 **A little update from Canine Reactive…**

Over the past few months, I've been working behind the scenes on a new website for Canine Reactive.

I wanted to create somewhere that better reflects what I do, how I work, and the different ways I can support you and your dog.

Because life with a dog isn't always straightforward. Sometimes you need help laying the right foundations with a puppy. Sometimes adolescence throws everything into chaos. And sometimes you're struggling with behaviours that leave you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated or unsure what to do next.

Whatever stage you're at, my aim is to help you understand your dog, work out what they need, and find a way forward that works for both of you. 💛

The new website is now open for you to explore! It's a work in progress in places, but I'm excited to finally start sharing it with you.

Gemma is lovely and I've had the pleasure of knowing her for a number of years now. She's fabulous at helping with all sorts of behavioural issues but also amazing for new puppy owners to learn all the tips and tricks.

💬 DOG CHATS #04 — The Pigeon Incident

Nessa has very kindly provided another update on the important matters happening at home while I'm out working.

Apparently there was a large, grey, terrifying creature in the garden.
It stared at her.

It flapped.

It made a “haunting noise”.

Naturally, Nessa raised the alarm. 🐾

It was a pigeon.

A pigeon that was, apparently, on HER fence.

And obviously, once I got home, she would need access to the garden immediately so she could resume her duties as terrifying guard dog.

The fact that the pigeon had already left was irrelevant.

The fence still needed protecting.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do without her. 😂

💬 DOG CHATS #03 — The Night Shift

2:17am.

You hear a noise.

Your dog hears a noise.

Your dog alerts the entire household to the noise.

You assume your brave German Shepherd will obviously be coming to investigate…
You would be wrong. 😂

Nessa is very good at reporting potential intruders.

Investigating them?

Well… that's apparently my job.

And apparently I should take a toy with me, just in case the potential intruder would like to play. 🤦‍♀️😂

Meanwhile, Nessa will be waiting safely by her treat drawer for my return.
Priorities. 🐾
