Today is a day dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about Badgers. These unique creatures are so important to our world, having been part of the British Isles for at least 250,000 years! Badgers are critical in controlling insect and rodent populations, contributing significantly to soil health.

However, Badgers face many threats from humans including culling and habitat loss.
Today we can help raise awareness and promote their protection.
Why not celebrate by learning some facts about Badgers, their behaviour and environment. Help to share national badger day and spread awareness.
