✨ GET TO KNOW THE HUMAN BEHIND SOPHIE’S MUDDY MUTTS ✨

Hi, I’m Sophie 👋🏼

I started Sophie’s Muddy Mutts when I went on maternity leave and realised something… life is too short not to do something you genuinely love. And for me, that’s working with dogs 🤍

I’ve grown up with black labs my whole life, and now I have my own — my gorgeous boy Murphy 🐾 (he’s 5 this year!). He’s my absolute soul mate… although he goes from 0–100 in about 3 seconds when the zoomies kick in 🤣

Dogs have always been more than “pets” to me. I feel like I connect with them on a deeper level. I don’t just walk dogs — I care for them. I learn their personalities, their quirks, what makes them feel safe, what makes them excited.

A typical walk with me?
Lots of affection, cuddles, fun adventures and making sure they feel loved — not rushed. Safety is huge for me too. I’m fully insured and pet first aid trained, so your dog is always in safe hands.

📍 Shrub End
📍 Lexden
📍 West Bergholt
(and everywhere in between!)

I’m also a mum to a little girl who already shares my love for animals 🥹 We spend so much time outdoors, and one of my goals this year is for us all to go on a proper family hike — I’m thinking the Peak District! 🥾

🐾 New Midday Dog Walking Group Starting 🐾

I’ve opened up spaces to create a small, friendly midday dog walking group on Tuesdays & Fridays, and I’m looking for 2–3 dogs to join.

Dogs will be carefully matched so everyone enjoys a calm, relaxed and safe walk. Bundle booking discounts also available.

📍 Areas covered: Stanway, Eight Ash Green, Copford, Lexden, Fordham, Aldham, West Bergholt, Marks Tey, Great Horkesley, Shrub End & Prettygate.

A lovely woodland walk for Piper today 🌲🐾 She enjoyed exploring the trails, following new scents and spotting squirrels 🐿️

We finished with some well-earned ball play, and it was so nice to see the snowdrops in bloom too 🤍
