No.3's Pets We will provide regular updates and send photos/videos of your pet having a great holiday of their own.

No.3 Pet Hotel is a small Family run business who will be looking after your small companions, We understand that leaving your pets in someone else's care can be daunting, but be assured while you're away from home I will treat your pet as I would treat my own, with all the love, care and compassion they need. ( With Permission)

We can also provide a drop off and collection service for a small supplement. Here are some things that you and your pet can expect from us all at No.3 Pet Hotel

☆ All hamsters, Mice, Gerbils etc will be kept indoors and their own cage must be provided.

☆ Large indoor pens in our safe and secure heated pet hut. Outdoor hutches for our outdoor rabbits that are fox and weather proof along with a protective covering in bad weather.

☆ The best farm fresh Timothy Hay

☆ Fresh leafy greens/vegetables will be provided and fresh water daily. All we ask is you provide own pellets to avoid upset tummies.

☆ Large runs available for exercise

☆ All toys, games, tunnels and enrichment for pets will be provided by us.

☆ FULLY INSURED.

☆ All hutches, enclosures are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis and before new guests arrive.

☆ PLEASE NOTE ... I never mix different pets. The only pets that share a hutch/run are from the same owner and are already bonded.

☆ Rabbits MUST have had 2 vaccinations
Nobivac Myxo RHD & Filovac RHD2 to keep our other guests and own Rabbits safe . Proof of vaccinations required.

☆ In the event of any illness occurring, veterinary advice and treatment will take place and you will be contacted directly.

Understanding EC 🐰👩‍⚕️

Encephalitozoon cuniculi (EC) is a parasitic condition commonly found in domestic rabbits. A large proportion of rabbits carry the parasite, happily living normal lives without showing any symptoms. EC can remain dormant until stress, illness or other triggers cause it to flare up.
Some of the most common signs of an EC infection are:
Head tilt,
limb weakness/ mobility difficulties,
urinating outside of the litter tray/ urine scold,
kidney damage.

If you suspect that your rabbits may have EC, take them to a rabbit savvy vet who can diagnose and test for active infection by completing a blood test.
Once a diagnosis is confirmed, a vet can prescribe a course of Panacur to kill the active infection. More than one course may be required depending on subsequent blood results. Never give this medication to your buns without being instructed to do so by a rabbit savvy vet!

In general, there is not enough research or data on EC! Here at The Littlest Lives Rescue, as a precaution, we only bond EC positive bunnies with other EC positive bunnies, because of its contagious nature.
