It's a good few weeks since we last caught up with young Maine C**n Eris in Rossendale in Rossendale, Lancashire and boy, has she shot up ! She was an older baby. Now she's a young lady !

Eris doesn't find her Sessions easy. She's a nervous girl and very, very sweet with it - always lots of loves and hugs !

We had a Brush Out and also a Trouser Trim, but she drew the line at a Hygiene Clip.

Did you know ?

We've recently been on holiday.

It's great to get away, but we always miss our two pussycats, Jimmy and Matilda. Fortunately we have a great neighbour who keeps her eye on them and comes in to feed them twice a day.

On the long drive back all we could think about was seeing our kitties again and then came the magic moment when we walked through the door and were reunited with two slightly uncertain but relieved felines.

Since we've been back a couple of things about the cats became apparent. The first was a dramatic increase in appetite. Matilda was crying for extra rations (especially Dreamies), and Jimmy who doesn't eat that much anyway was probably consuming double what we would normally expect. In his case this was really surprising !

They are also getting much more sleep during the day - and we mean proper, zonked out sleep !

These dramatic and (hopefully) temporary behavioural changes are probably due to fretting. Our absence distressed our cats to the extent that their dietary habits and sleep patterns were disrupted. Now, it seems, they are trying to catch up !

Sir Ted (STFoDTPP), in Oldham, Greater Manchester had a short back and sides today - a Full Clip. He was ready to lose that big, fluffy overcoat !

Mum reported back later that, post clip, he's been back flipping and done a triple somersault across the landing. So much energy, Ted !

Here's Pandora again in Lytham, Lancashire. You might also know her as Dory ?

Today, Dory's coat was exceptionally thick and clunky. She had a tight Belly Clip to manage underneath. And on top ? What we call, simply, a Back Clip. So, in effect, she was left with a skirt and tail.

Dory finds managing her coat difficult these days, and she doesn't like anyone to help her with it. A proper groom makes everyone's life easier.

Highland Fold Herbie (known as The Love Bug) had a really good de-fluff today in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Not a day too soon, Herbie !

Here's Maine C**n Autumn in Rochdale, Greater Manchester and today she had her maintenance groom.

It was her most chilled Session to date.

She's a very gentle girl and a little cautious until she knows what's going on.

It was nice to see her so relaxed today.
