🧡 Midway Championships 2026 🧡
Absolutely delighted with Magic over the last two days, finishing 4th overall!
It finally feels like I’m starting to get some of the power and strength back that she used to have. After a few years out having a foal and then picking up an unfortunate injury, it’s been a long road back, with the last 18 months spent slowly getting her back to where she is now. It’s so nice to finally feel like all the hard work is starting to pay off 🤩🤩
It’s also been a very long time since she’s competed two days running, so to come away with 3rd yesterday on 69% and 6th today on 66%, I couldn’t be happier 😍☺️
We were so close to a mounted prize giving too, only for me to forget that pesky give and retake 🤦♀️ costing us those very valuable 0.5 marks!!
Still absolutely thrilled with her though. I’m so happy to be getting little glimpses of the old Magic’s strength and power coming back. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way, but especially to Lone Oak Stables training and schooling for pushing us to be the best we can be in this journey 🙏
