*Disclaimer- any verbal abuse towards supporters will be banned from the page* We are a recent registered charity, we demote our lives to save hedgehogs, we have been helping hedgehogs for over 10 years! it all started with one hedgehog we found in our garden who was out in the day time, we took him to our local rescue which at the time was in Dewsbury, they was completely full and asked us to care for him to which we said yes! we was in contact with the rescue every single day and then another hedgehog appeared during the day the same story goes until eventually we had 4!! 2 girls and 2 boys after a lot of time, the hedgehogs were ready to have their freedom so we released them back in our garden to where we found them originally, after they was gone we felt like something was missing and then we knew what our fate was, to devote our time and lives to save these amazing animals, after a year of being mentored we was ready to not rely so heavily on the rescue who made Castleford hedgehog rescue, a few years into it we got our first ever abandoned week old hoglet who we called BABY as he was never supposed to live but he did! he had around the clock care and we noticed we was spoiling him too much to the point he thought he was a dog! so guess what he stayed with us and terrorised me, from that day we have said never again to hand raising tiny babies so then came the amazing Louise! every now and then we will hand rear little pink beans but very differently then when we did baby hahaha we have learnt this lesson. hedgehogs are our lives and we want to help any many as possible and hope to regain the numbers of hedgehogs are they are sadly in decline
