A Lanarkshire woman has been recognised for her work in raising awareness to help save the lives of dogs.

Pam Tait, a long-standing supporter of Pet Blood Bank UK, has been named the winner of the Pioneering Award at the Heart of Pet Blood Bank Awards, sponsored by CVS Vets.

The award hails individuals who have helped drive innovation, awareness, and growth within the charity.

Pam, from Carluke, has supported Pet Blood Bank since its early days, attending donation sessions with her dogs, who between them have made an incredible 46 donations, helping to save the lives of up to 184 other dogs.

Through her dog walking business, conversations with fellow dog owners, and activity on social media, Pam has encouraged many people to register their dogs as donors.

I’m just home from walking the girls and going to be doing my diary for next week.
Could EVERYONE please make sure payments are up to date ASAP. I know I’m sounding like a broken record, it I honestly don’t know what else to do. I’ve sent messages, payment links, posts on FB and still nothing.

Maybe time time to give up dog walking and get a “proper job” 😞

A lovely wee day at Border Union Championship dog show where Miss Luna - Sweetbriar Moonstone - won her Post Graduate class again.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so cold at a show ……. But home made pizza made up for it 🩷🩷🩷
