****UPDATE****
She’s now found her new forever home - with someone who’s already a member of the Whinney Brow “family” and going to live with another Whinney Brow puppy - we’re so pleased! 🥰🥰
Thank you to everyone who’s messaged and enquired
Every so often, life throws us a curveball.
No matter how diligent we are with our checks, how many questions we ask, how carefully we go through our expression of interest forms, or how much time we spend talking on the phone and meeting people in person, sometimes circumstances change. Sadly, that is what has happened with one of the beautiful puppies from Cracker’s litter.
Thankfully, this is something that very rarely happens.
As stated in our puppy sale contract, if for any reason you find yourself unable to keep or care for your puppy, you must contact us in the first instance. Under Lucy’s Law, a puppy under six months old should be returned to their original breeder. Personally, I believe that, regardless of age, your breeder should always be the first person you contact if you are ever unable to keep your dog.
This weekend, a beautiful little golden Cocker Spaniel girl, just ten and a half weeks old, returned to us.
The person who originally bought her has cared for her beautifully and made a wonderful start with her training. Unfortunately, his circumstances have changed, and he is no longer able to give her the care and time she needs.
So, she has come back home to us.
And honestly? She seems to think she’s simply been on a little holiday! She has settled straight back into our home, our routine and life with everyone here. That is wonderful to see, as she is happy, relaxed and showing no signs of being stressed or unsettled.
She really is a gorgeous little girl. ❤️
However, she cannot stay with us permanently. So, we are again looking for her forever home.
We are looking for a truly wonderful, five-star home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her life. She needs a family who has the time, commitment and stability to give a young Cocker Spaniel puppy everything she needs.
Of course, we understand that life can sometimes change unexpectedly. But taking on a puppy is a lifelong commitment, and we want to find a family who are planning for her to be part of their lives for all of hers.
If you feel that you could offer this beautiful golden girl the loving, permanent home she deserves, please do get in touch.
We will, of course, ask lots of questions and carefully vet any potential home—but equally, we welcome you to ask us questions too. Choosing the right puppy and the right breeder should always work both ways.
If you think you could be this little girl’s forever family, we would love to hear from you. ❤️
