Cat drop-in services are useful in a lot of situations because most cats are happier staying in their own home rather than going to a cattery! 💞
Drop-in services can help with:
- Holidays and short breaks: ensuring your cats are fed, watered, and have clean litter trays while you’re away.
- Business trips: ideal when you’re away for a few days but don’t want to disrupt your cat’s routine.
- Weekend getaways: even one or two nights away can require someone to check in on your cat.
- Elderly or nervous cats: cats that find travel or boarding stressful often cope much better at home.
- Multi-cat households: keeping cats in their familiar environment can reduce territorial stress and conflict.
- Medication administration: for cats that need tablets, insulin, or other routine medication.
- Maintaining social interaction: even a few days alone can feel very isolating for your cat, we’ll give them lots of cuddles & attention (on their terms of course).
- New kittens: extra visits can provide feeding, monitoring, and socialisation support.
- Post-operative care: checking on cats recovering from surgery and making sure they’re eating, drinking, and comfortable.
