New Hope Animal Rescue An Independent non-destruct rescue dedicated to helping the animals most in need. We also give sanctuary to rescued horses and rescued farmed animals and fowl.

New Hope Animal Rescue is an independent, non-destruct animal rescue and Sanctuary. New Hope is dedicated to helping animals on facing euthanasia or in immediate danger and those with either medical needs or behavioural problems that make them difficult to place. We aim to help as many animals and in particular those that have been turned away elsewhere. Since the sale of the kennel site we were r

enting we now have just the one site. which is our Sanctuary site in Herne Bay, Kent. Our Sanctuary site looks after about four hundreds animals at a time ranging from dogs, cats and small domestics to cows, sheep, pigs and horses. We occasionally rehome those that we consider rehomeable, but often act as the middle man between immediate danger and rescue spaces. We work alongside a vast pool of other rescue organisations to make safe as many as we can. New Hope has no paid staff, including its Founders who work full time to cover as much cost as possible. We are always in need of donations to cover a vast array of expenses that are incurred including feed and bedding, enormous vets bills, kennel bills and fuel costs for transporting. We’ve helped several canine cases in the last week to find placements and get to safety, some that other rescues we work with have asked for help with and some welfare cases, most of which we won’t post.
We thought we would share this girl though. Found in poor condition, matted, scared and heavily pregnant. We sorted her a great space and her transport to rescue.
The night before we were getting her picked up the poor girl gave birth to seven pups in the pound.
Our driver collected her and she’s now safe and in a rescue with lots of experience and the perfect set up.
They’ll all be just fine 🙏

Our little Wonder Jack went to the groomers today for a bath and a groom and how smart does he look!?
Jack is an anxious boy and has to navigate new things but he did so well thanks to his kind and patient groomer.
Fran’s Grooms did such a great job and very kindly did his groom for free for New Hope.

UPDATE PLACED

PLEASE SHARE FOR RESCUE SPACE.

This big beauty is in need of a RESCUE to take her on and match her with the right home once she is ready.

Shes a young adult, said to be a St Bernard mix, likely with some sort of bull breed.

She has tested well with other dogs but she is initially fearful of new people and novel objects out and about she hasn’t seen before. She will alarm bark but relies on her handler of reassurance.
She is easily won round by strangers with toys or food but needs that kind patience.

She is food motivated and responds well to initial training.

She just a big, worried girl who needs a little understanding and some guidance in building her confidence.

Can any of our reputable rescues offer her a space?
