I hate to moan, but PLEASE can I remind my customers to give me at least 2 days to cancel appointments!
I've had quite a few late cancellations recently, which is completely unfair! This gives me barely any time to find someone else to fill your space! And most of the time I don't!
Charges will apply for people cancelling the day before, as stated below.
This is my income to support myself and my son (and my dogs). Just please be mindful of this ๐
Thanks,
Jemma xx
๐ฅ UPDATE OF CANCELLATION POLICY ๐ฅ
As of next week, I am changing my cancellation policy.
I've decided to do this, as I've had a lot of late cancellations so far this year.
So the new policy will be, if a cancellation is made the day before your appointment, then there will be a charge. This charge will be 50% of your groom price. So please aim to give 2 days notice to avoid a charge.
Anyone who cancels 12 hours or less, will need to pay a full 100% of their dogs groom price.
Refusing to pay the charge will result in me cancelling your future appointments, and I won't be booking any new ones in.
I find a lot of people are cancelling due to double booking themselves. So please, please write your appointments down! Set reminders in your phone etc.
My reminder texts will now go out 2 days before at 3pm. Giving plenty of time in the evening, 2 days before to cancel if needed. Please do not leave it until late/the middle of the night to message me!
This new policy will be stated in the message!
The next step will be taking non refundable deposits from people, which I don't want to have to do!
Thank you to the majority of my customers that give plenty of notice and/or pay the cancellation fee! ๐
This problem just seems to of stepped up a lot this year for some reason. I take the time to sit and book people in, tell other people I'm fully booked, to then have people cancel last minute.
I'm sorry to have to rant, but this is my business and my income.
Thank you for your understanding,
Jemma xx
