“Wait… you use soap on your face?!”

Too right I do, and I’ve been doing it for years 😁

I know, I know, somewhere along the line, we were all told that using soap on your face was basically a skincare crime.

But I make soap SPECIFICALLY for your face, and my Luxury Facial Bar is unlike any other soap you’ve tried.

And then I start typing.

And suddenly I’ve written approximately 2,000 words about soapmaking, something ridiculous that’s happened, a few things I’ve loved, some good news and whatever else has wandered into my brain.

Friends, my gob has been well and truly smacked today.

I’ve been faffing about the website, and realised it’s been a good while since I checked what the top three bestselling bars have been this year (regular range, not seasonal specials). And look! Purity came in at third place 😮

Eryri is usually in first place, and Bewitched often appears in second or third place, but Purity? I don’t think it’s even been in the top five before.

No colour, no pretty pattern, no fragrance, just good, gentle, bubbly soap. Is it in your top five?

Morning gang!

It was way too dark and cold this morning to take my first panad out into the garden, so that’s that little routine dropped until spring I think 🥺 Still, the dahlias were still looking gorgeous over the weekend - I suspect their days are numbered now that it’s got noticeably colder 🥶

So I’ve been in front of the fire this morning, posting Day 19 of Blogtober (about charcoal in soap, if you’re interested) and writing my to-do list while Jac waits patiently for his walk.

Keep me in your thoughts today as I work through this little lot - it might be a little ambitious. 😳😁

Unapologetically enthusiastic. Easily delighted. Completely unbothered by what anyone thinks. We could all learn a thing or two 😁

The weather has been wonderful this weekend, sunny blue skies yesterday and today, and Jac and I have very much enjoyed walking without getting drenched for a change. Well, Jac gets wet whatever the weather but you know what I mean 😂

Who forgot about yesterday?! Me, of course, so you’re getting one today 😁

All the Christmas varieties have now been made, but in the rush to get them done I didn’t record many.

Never mind, Merry Berry is back, and WAS one of the few I did manage to film. Coming in a few weeks time, exact date yet to be decided 🫣.

Thought I would try my first seasonal bit of audio, kinda funky and probably not to everyone’s taste but I like it 😂😂
