Slow & steady for working on a dog's teeth. My aim is to make them feel safe & comfortable and in control; so I begin by letting them see, sniff & approach the toothbrush in their own time. Working at a dog's pace is essential to building that bond.🐾

Absolutely love Alfie popping in for a de-shed. He is a stunning German shepherd x Spaniel with a heart bigger than him. I know if he was a human I would definitely be hanging out with him 🐾❤️

Senior Dogs Deserve Extra Love it's an honour to spend time with them.🐾🤍

Our beautiful senior dogs may slow down with age, but they still deserve to feel their absolute best.💗

Grooming an older dog isn’t just about making them look gorgeous — it’s about comfort, dignity and wellbeing. It's a privilege to grow old with a dog.

Senior dogs often need a little extra care and patience:
🐾 Shorter, gentler grooming sessions
🐾 Regular breaks and plenty of reassurance
🐾 Careful handling of stiff or arthritic joints
🐾 Extra attention around delicate skin and thinner coats
🐾 Keeping nails at a healthy length to support mobility
🐾 Checking for lumps, sore areas or changes in the skin
🐾 Making sure they are warm, comfortable and never rushed

For some older dogs, simply standing for a long time can be tiring, so I always work at their pace, adapting the groom to what they can comfortably manage.

Because getting older doesn’t mean they should miss out on their pampering. 💕🐶
