Sharing this because with so much negative social media around it's little simple happy dog videos like this that makes me smile 😁.

I had the pleasure of seeing this beautiful old chap today, Archie still gets out on his long walks with his owner - although he gets to sit in his buggy and grumbles at other dogs getting too close to his fancy wheels!! His owner knows he won't have years left with him and it is such a privilege that I get to spend time with them both.
Archie's massages make him feel more comfortable, he often drifts off during the day end of the session and then sleeps for hours afterwards.
Isn't he gorgeous? 💙

❤️. Do you know the signs to look for if your dog is in pain?

Along with behavioural changes they may show physical signs such as limping or lame on one or more limb, struggling to get up, head bobbing when moving and a reluctance to jump up onto their usual spot on the sofa.

When I perform a gait analysis on your dogs first consult these are just a few of the things I am looking for.

Clinical Canine Massage can help by :
🐶 Reducing pain and inflammation
🐶 Improves flexibility and mobility
🐶 Promotes relaxation and recovery
🐶 Improves mood and behaviour
🐶 Allows owner to touch and pet more often

Get in touch today if you are thinking your dog may be displaying these signs.

Hands up I have been quiet on my page recently. This is only due to the fact that social media just isn't my thing! I've been busy living happily in the real world and busy seeing my regular massage clients and loving meeting new ones. I will try to post more on here! 😀

⛱️⛱️ Just a little reminder- Some of the warmer weather has been surprising us - we are all aware not to leave dogs in hot cars but don't forget the pavements can become very hot and burn your dogs paws 🐕

Merry Christmas everyone.

A huge thank you to all my lovely clients who have trusted me to let me spend time with their fantastic dogs this year.

It's almost a year since I started my small business and it's been such a life changer for me, I love the work I do and to see the benefits to the dogs I massage is so rewarding.

I hope you have a lovely time this Christmas, see you in the New Year. 🎄

Meet the beautiful Buffy, this evening she has had her 10th massage session with me.

She has received a course of acupuncture with her vet and is now going to continue that monthly. In between acupuncture she will see me for massages.

She knows me well now and lies down watching the television during her massage ♥️♥️

Note--- her sister sometimes gets a bit jealous and comes for some fuss too 🐶♥️

Loving the information that the Canine Massage Guild are providing via their Canine Muscular Health Awareness month page.

❤️ There has been so much uptake from other professionals across the UK starting this for the first year!!
vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists, physios and obviously Clinical Canine Massage Therapists all getting involved to bring awareness to those interested in the muscular health of their dog.

The last three days head nurse Jess from Tamar Vets and I have been at the BVNA congress (British Veterinary Nursing Association) doing some learning and networking with thousands of other vet nurses from around the country.
What a great event!!
Thank you for a great few days!!

❤️ Happy World Mental health day everyone ❤️

A very important aspect of the workplace for me working within the veterinary industry since 2008.

Did you know ➡️. studies show that petting a dog can lower stress hormones while increasing beneficial neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. 🐶. - so give your dog that extra cuddle and you both feel the benefits.

Pictured are two of my maintenance massage clients from this week, both Dylan and Lulu got a little sleepy and very relaxed by the end of their massage, and my mental health always gets a boost seeing dogs like this knowing I can make them feel better.
