Friday was a day of 2 halves. A wild & windy cold morning, woolly hat,fleece & raincoat! Unsurprisingly had the beach to ourselves👌☑️
Followed by a gorgeous afternoon requiring just a tee shirt!☑️
So just normal Cumbrian weather then 😆the dogs just love it

Another glorious Thursday afternoon adventure exploring Dunnerholme, and bits of the new KC111 path, well admiring the signs. It was 3 votes to 1 in our wee democracy to play running games on the beach, well it was low tide. A good choice guys, we'll save the new path for another day 🐾🐾

Lucky with the weather today ☀️ it was windy so the dogs were giddy & ran & ran til we got up to Dunnerholme where we had a drink & some treats (I had a Yorkie which was far from being too big for girls 🫤!) then mooched slowly back along the shore not rolling in any stinky stuff. Which is always a bonus 😜

Actually enjoyed all the rainy walks today, not a soul around and so peaceful. Perfect.Definitely not a heatwave girl!
Very pleased with my new waterproof coat. Thanks for the recommendation Helen I was bone dry, out all day & the rain never really let up.

Hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend, it was way better than forecast here in Broughton and the rain held off until Saturday evening thankfully.
We had a wonderful weekend with friends staying and a great time at our local agricultural show. Shaun even took some great photos and made a wee video at our house with his drone.

One of my favourite days of the year and the rain held off til the evening 😅 Took hardly any photos🫤 Arthur enjoyed his first time too, he was such a good dog. Manchester to Broughton is a huge change for him and he has absolutely bossed it. I think his favourite was the goats, closely followed by the food court 🤣

Thank you to everyone involved in putting such a great show together year after year, organisers, farmers, exhibitors, et al it will be a long list. It's a huge task & you all work so hard.

Tortoise Tuesday 💖 so lovely to take care of this very special pet for a day. Felt very privileged as Torty is due a telegram from the King soon !!
Fascinating animal to watch, found it very relaxing to spend time with him after a morning of dog walking...surprisingly speedy though🙂
