🐾💙💛 FROM BEGINNERS TO BRILLIANT!

18 seconds! A personal best for Sara and Teddy! 🏆🐶

But here’s the thing…

This didn’t happen overnight. But it happened. ❤️

Behind those 18 seconds are weeks of learning, patience, encouragement, teamwork and, most importantly, FUN.

Sara and Teddy started as beginners, just like everyone else. Through practice, trust and commitment, they’ve progressed to intermediate agility, and watching Teddy confidently fly around that course is just wonderful.

At Pawsitive Fun Agility, we’re not about being the fastest or getting everything perfect.

We’re about giving dogs something they love doing, providing mental stimulation, building confidence and strengthening that incredible bond between dog and owner.

Every dog learns differently. Every handler starts somewhere. And every achievement, however small, is worth celebrating.

From beginners to intermediate, everyone has a place with us. 💙💛

🐾 WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US?

Our next BEGINNERS FUN AGILITY COURSE starts soon.

📅 Sunday 1st November 2026
🕓 4pm
📍 Chelsfield Equestrian Centre, BR6 7RE

💛 5-week course: £120
💙 Trial session: £15

No previous agility experience needed. Just you, your dog and a willingness to have some fun together.

Come along, give it a go and see what your dog is capable of.

Because every confident agility dog was once a beginner. ❤️

🐾 18 SECONDS! A PERSONAL BEST FOR TEDDY! 🏆💙💛

Just look at Sara and Teddy go!

An amazing personal best of 18 seconds, but what makes this so special isn’t the time. It’s the journey they’ve taken to get here.

Sara, you, Richard and Teddy have come so far, and this really does speak volumes about the connection, trust and commitment you’ve built together. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️

At Pawsitive, our Fun Agility isn’t about being the fastest or winning competitions. It’s about having FUN with your dog.

We don’t worry about the clock, but when you see a dog enjoying themselves so much, confidently navigating each obstacle and making it all look so effortless, it’s a lovely reminder of just how far they’ve come.

And that’s what agility is really about.

🐾 Mental stimulation: Agility gives dogs a job to do. It encourages them to think, focus, problem-solve and use their brains as well as their bodies.

🐾 Strengthening your bond: Every obstacle is an opportunity to communicate, work together and build trust. Your dog learns to look to you for guidance, and you learn to understand each other better.

🐾 Building confidence: Watching a dog overcome something they once found difficult, uncertain or even a little scary is incredibly rewarding.

🐾 Positive energy: Agility provides an outlet for physical and mental energy in a fun, structured and rewarding environment.

🐾 Inclusive and supportive: You don’t need to be super fit, have the fastest dog or have any previous experience. Our sessions are adapted to suit different dogs and handlers, with everyone encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Because agility isn’t just about what your dog can do. It’s about what you can achieve together. ❤️

Some dogs fly around the course. Others take their time, stop for a sniff or need a little extra encouragement. And that’s absolutely fine with us.

Every little achievement deserves celebrating.

Well done, Sara and Teddy. Those 18 seconds represent so much more than a time. They represent teamwork, confidence, trust and a whole lot of fun. 🐶❤️

🐾 CHESTER’S JOURNEY: FROM STREET DOG TO LEARNING TO WALK CALMLY ❤️

Meet Chester, a former street dog who has never really been taught how to walk nicely on a lead.

For Chester, walks have always been about survival, scanning his surroundings and being constantly on high alert.

He is reactive, easily over-aroused and distracted by absolutely everything around him.

His focus is everywhere except on the person holding his lead.

The result? Constant pulling, looking for potential triggers and walks that can be incredibly stressful and exhausting for his owner.

But Chester isn’t being naughty. He simply hasn’t been taught another way.

Our first lead-walking session was all about changing that.

🐾 Teaching Chester to pay attention to his handler.

🐾 Helping him understand that he doesn’t need to be responsible for everything happening around him.

🐾 Introducing clear, calm guidance and direction.

🐾 Building engagement, trust and confidence.

🐾 Teaching him that walking on a loose lead is actually possible.

❤️ And THIS video shows Chester at the END of his very first lead-walking session.

Is he a finished product? Absolutely not.

Does he still have a lot to learn? Of course.

But look at what he can achieve when someone takes the time to show him what is expected, rather than simply expecting him to know.

Chester doesn’t need to be perfect. He just needs guidance, consistency and the opportunity to learn.

And this is just the beginning of his journey. ❤️

One of today's sessions was all about confidence, connection and having fun.

This gorgeous rescue started the session with some very enthusiastic zoomies, then worked beautifully on her long line, checking in with her handler and practising calm loose-lead walking.

We kept everything simple: clear guidance, one cue, follow-through and lots of praise for the right choices. By the end of the session, Hara was walking back on a lovely loose lead, looking up and staying connected.

Progress is not about expecting perfection. It is about building confidence, making the right choices rewarding and giving dogs the skills to feel safe in the world.

Good girl, Hara.
